Sport courts

My kids are phasing out of the swing set age. We don't have a driveway for a basketball hoop, and we have a tiny backyard. We could possibly install a sport court, and I am wondering what the cost range is for that. Since it will eat up much of our little yard, I don't want to just put down ugly cement. Would welcome any ideas and companies you like!

how about the playground?

As your neighbor, I find having a sport court to be so annoying, having to listen to balls bouncing and not being able to enjoy the peace and quiet of my backyard.

I love making you suffer. You know, because you're an insufferable prick.

Sport Court of Washington DC. Sport courts are nicer than concrete. And there are adult only and senior only communities for people who don't like the sound of real life kids having fun and God forbid playing outside.

Lol, OP here, I didn't post those replies, but I agree--a bouncing ball and kids playing is part of neighborhood life!

Agree. We have a large backyard and previous owners installed something similar to a sport court. While kids are too young to be shooting hoops, it is great for riding around in their little cars. Then again, we live in a family friendly neighborhood and one house next to us has a pool and tennis court, and the other house next to us has a poor man's ice rink to use in the winter when the water freezes (we don't live in DC anymore) so I don't think kids shooting basketballs in our yard are going to be the biggest noise maker of the 'hood.

They are super overpriced, though.

LOL at the old bat who is annoyed at the sound of kids/people playing outside.
