We have a large backyard and previous owners installed something similar to a sport court. While kids are too young to be shooting hoops, it is great for riding around in their little cars. Then again, we live in a family friendly neighborhood and one house next to us has a pool and tennis court, and the other house next to us has a poor man's ice rink to use in the winter when the water freezes (we don't live in DC anymore) so I don't think kids shooting basketballs in our yard are going to be the biggest noise maker of the 'hood.[/quote]
