But it's not.

I see pics sometimes where she looks slender and bust appears smaller (can she inflate/deflate it?) and there are hip bones, and then things like this which add thickness.

Dunno as pockets maybe, saddle bags?

As is, just some sort of space age peplum, I suppose.

Did we miss this nostril slip pic?

Outfit on model:

She just REALLY loves a peplum. She keep trying to make them happen. I don't even really like that on the model, but it does look totally different because it's more loose/boxy through the torso, and then the model has no hips or thighs so the peplum just drops. On Ivanka, it's all sexy nurse curves, which makes it look ridiculous instead of sort of modern and edgy. Another example of her not dressing for her body. Plus I think a white suit is sort of like the AP version of dressing -- you need to know what works to carry off a white suit. (Pelosi can do it, so can Streisand, and Oprah.) It needs to be perfectly tailored and the fit needs to be perfect, because white is unforgiving and can look tacky so fast. Ivanka really doesn't have the skills for a white suit.

This perfectly underscores the idea that fit is crucial. The suit on the model looks very architectural and modern, and on ivanka it looks odd and ill-fitting. Same with the teal dress above. It probably looked great on a model. But on ivanka, it’s off. She needs to lower the waist, remove the gigantic neckerchief, slim the sleeves a touch...

I agree it's a beautiful color but, like so many Ivanka outfits, it's sort of ....almost right? I hate the neck bow with it. Between the neck bow, the loose sleeves, the flowy skirt, it's just a mess of fabric floating around. Without the neckbow, it might be really pretty.
But I'm still not sure that it would be the most flattering cut for her figure. All that fabric probably makes her look bigger than she is. I think this is a good dress for someone really thin (fills them out), or for someone who is on the big size and curvy (accentuates the waist.) For someone who is essentially thin but with a really large chest, I think it just makes her look kind of big. But I admit that I don't really know what's right for someone with that figure.

Here's how it looks on a model:

I don't like the dress (at all), but taste is subjective, so whatever. But, why does she insist on wearing long sleeved things with neck ties in nearly 90 degree weather? You'd think that it would be horribly uncomfortable.

Looks like a graduation robe with a belt on the model. Maybe we're supposed to infer that she's really smart?

I don't hate the dress. It's nice we can't see Vanky's nips. Does seem a weird choice in hot weather. At least she's not showing her underwear.

It is double layered 96% polyester, 4% "elastane" crepe, sounds boiling hot.

No kidding. She’s wearing and marinating in the swamp.

Very deconstructed Girl Scout uniform.

She’s always a bit on the nose, or what’s left of it, anyway.

The dress, sleeveless of course, has an enormous zipper right down the front middle. I'm kind of curious how long the dress is, but it appears to me to be one of the most work inappropriate things I've seen someone wear. Sort of like a cross between a scuba outfit and a stripper dress. I like the color, though.

The peekaboo zipper takes that right to “fourth date at a downmarket ‘yacht‘ club.”
