It’s all the worst of male culture and while I’m no big fan of Swift, I was disappointed to see her getting involved with an NFL player and becoming the typical brainless female NFL fan.

What I’ve seen of the headlines about tonight’s game is sickening; will Swift stay in a relationship with a violent hothead who physically attacks an elderly man? The narrative that it’s okay because he’s the coach and the player is pumped in the midst of the big game does nothing for me but to highlight how the NFL normalizes male violence in our culture.

Shame on you, Taylor Swift. What kind of empowered woman chooses a violent brainless man for a life partner?

100 percent

No, that is a nutso take. Physically attack an elderly man? Andy Reid (the coach) would be laughing at you for saying that.

He would be offended. Elderly? Haha. Too much.

Look up the definition of elderly. It’s someone aged 65 or older. Look up his age…. Yes, elderly.

Look up Andy Reid. You sound like someone who knows nothing about him. Agree that TK was out of line. He should have been benched for the rest of the game, Super Bowl or not. That Andy Reid let him play says a ton about their relationship

Uh, I think it speaks to it being the Superbowl and Reid wanting another SB ring/win. Their offense is designed in part around Kelce. Reid is not benching a star, veteran tight end who has helped them win multiple championships before. They could absolutely hate each other and Kelce would still be playing 80% of their snaps.

agreed lol. it has nothing to do about their relationship outside of the field. It's the superbowl...Andy wasn't going to bench him

No one ever gets benched for watching their game and getting upset at bad plays. Wtf PP.

But Travis's display was aggressive against a person. Not an opponent in pads on the field. His coach. A horrible look from a PR angle. And yes, a player of color would be called a thug and a criminal.

I understand high emotions, but this was someone showing you who they are ... and I'm believing it the first time.

Taylor

lol. That’s the most childish post I’ve read here in awhile.

Violent like the BLM protestors, screamers, and arsonists?

Didn't bother Andy Reid. After the game he said
“He caught me when I wasn’t looking. (Laughs) He came over & gave me a hug. Said ‘Sorry about that’. You know what? He just wants to be on the field & he wants to play. There’s nobody I get better than I get him. He’s a competitive kid. He loves to play. He makes me feel young.”

Love won. All you miserable haters, I pity you.

Yup.

Two men verbally communicating their emotions and thoughts on game strategy, processing everything, talking more later, moving inward and upward.
Normal.

If it had been a black player he would have been suspended and all his endorsements rescinded.

Nope.

0 for 1000 there in NfL, NBA, NHL, MLB.

+2 her fauxmances are so tiresome, and he’s a creep.

+1 I’ve known my husband for over a decade and I’ve never seen him get that angry at anybody. If I were Taylor’s friend, I’d be calling her tomorrow to check in. I’d tell my daughter to break up over a display like that, and I say that as someone who was very happy for Travis and Taylor before the game began.

He won't be happy in a couple of minutes, assuming they lose.

He was fine. He only watches the Super bowl.

Uhhhh Brady got real aggressive with his coaches all the time. He practically headbutted his coach before:

This proves nothing except that she’s not into him *now*. If my boyfriend put on that kind of aggressive display, I’d be figuring out my exit strategy.

(1) That's Josh McDaniels. He suuuuuucks.

(2) Brady doesn't touch him. Players do yell all the time, especially in big games when they are behind. Grabbing a coaches arm is very aggro. I've never seen that before.

Lol. Ray Lewis was in involved in a homicide case yet he continued his career in the NFL and is still a loved player up in Baltimore and is on Fox. Go look up the history of Tyreek Hill. All the media has done all season long was praise Hill as one of the best WR in the league. Yet don't you remember how audio got leaked of him getting real aggressive with fiance when she confront him over alleged abuse of his 3 year old son who has his arm broken?

There are a million terrible stories of players behaving badly yet are still in the field making millions of dollars, black or not. You're just trying to inject race into everything when it's true.

This is why she was pounding beers. Anything to get through this moment.

Aside from Mahomes, they did not play a great game and had shitty sportsmanship. Between the Sneed slap and Kelce shoving and yelling at the coach, going into overtime, there is no great amazing victory there.
