What I’ve seen of the headlines about tonight’s game is sickening; will Swift stay in a relationship with a violent hothead who physically attacks an elderly man? The narrative that it’s okay because he’s the coach and the player is pumped in the midst of the big game does nothing for me but to highlight how the NFL normalizes male violence in our culture.

Shame on you, Taylor Swift. What kind of empowered woman chooses a violent brainless man for a life partner?

100 percent

No, that is a nutso take. Physically attack an elderly man? Andy Reid (the coach) would be laughing at you for saying that.

He would be offended. Elderly? Haha. Too much.

Look up the definition of elderly. It’s someone aged 65 or older. Look up his age…. Yes, elderly.

Look up Andy Reid. You sound like someone who knows nothing about him. Agree that TK was out of line. He should have been benched for the rest of the game, Super Bowl or not. That Andy Reid let him play says a ton about their relationship

Uh, I think it speaks to it being the Superbowl and Reid wanting another SB ring/win. Their offense is designed in part around Kelce. Reid is not benching a star, veteran tight end who has helped them win multiple championships before. They could absolutely hate each other and Kelce would still be playing 80% of their snaps.

agreed lol. it has nothing to do about their relationship outside of the field. It's the superbowl...Andy wasn't going to bench him

It was aggressive and violent behavior on the sidelines. Against the head coach. When Tom Brady would break iPads on the sidelines I would think, what a primadonna destroying expensive property because he was frustrated. Real childish behavior. But Travis's display was aggressive against a person. Not an opponent in pads on the field. His coach. A horrible look from a PR angle. And yes, a player of color would be called a thug and a criminal.

I understand high emotions, but this was someone showing you who they are ... and I'm believing it the first time.

*hit post too soon

Taylor would do well to cool it with this relationship.

Seeing as the definition of elderly is someone 65 and older, and he is 65, he meets the definition. He might not act like most people considered elderly, but that does not mean he isn’t.

Yeah he wasn't going to bench Kelce at the SB or any other game. They are there to win.

Wonder what he said to her at the end of their embrace on the field. He said something while nuzzling her neck which made her immediately kiss him and they both looked emotional walking away together.

Didn't bother Andy Reid. After the game he said
“He caught me when I wasn’t looking. (Laughs) He came over & gave me a hug. Said ‘Sorry about that’. You know what? He just wants to be on the field & he wants to play. There’s nobody I get better than I get him. He’s a competitive kid. He loves to play. He makes me feel young.”

Love won. All you miserable haters, I pity you.

If it had been a black player he would have been suspended and all his endorsements rescinded.

He was asked about it: https://x.com/NFLGameDay/status/1756904407063802161?s=20

Doesn't seem too mad or like he'd agree with the PP's 'violent hothead' take. "The guy makes me feel young. He's been with us longer than anybody, he's a seasoned veteran and he caught me off guard then I had to go take care of business with him."

If it were another key player, no they would not have. If it were just another NFL player, nobody would care.

Go hide?

Because of social media and mass media?

They’re actually only working and she goes to see a football game every two weeks or maybe to dinner. BFD.

It’s fine to shout at a coach after a terrible strategy decision and fumble. That was several mistakes in one and he sat in the bench, saw them all and was rightfully upset. Everyone was.

What snowflake land did you grow up in with no sports or upsets? Most good players do not sit there and smile at three F Ups in a row by the coaches and players on the field.

Have you couch potatoes ever watched professional sports games before? Pay better attention to how the many coaches and players interact next time. Normal.
