If you are over 30, do you still call your dad "Daddy?" |
Only if I'm asking him for a favor! Lol... |
lol it used to be only when asking a favor/buttering him up. But now that I have a kid and we refer to husband as daddy, I've let it slip quite a few times when talking to my dad! |
Dad. My former stepmother was still referring to her father as daddy when she was in her 50s. I found it creepy. |
I'm 29, but can't remember last time I said daddy referring to my dad. |
Dad. Using daddy is weird. |
Definitely Dad. Daddy seems strange to me. |
I say dad, but sometimes I say daddy. I don't think it's weird. It's just normal speech. I say mom, but sometimes I say mommy. They're both terms of endearment to me. My parents are awesome people. The older I get, the more I realize this. |
A similar variation (based on a childhood mispronunciation that my see disrers adopted). He signs cards to us as Dad though. We all call my mother Mummy too (British parents). |
See disrers should say older sisters. |
No, not since I was about 8. |
Mommy is fruit too. |
I call mine Pop. |
always Daddy. I am from SC. mama, daddy. |
Lots of southerners say mama and daddy even as adults |
