Can someone please give me some pediatrician recommendations in Fairfax, Mclean, or Vienna?

Hello,

I'm 6 months pregnant and trying to start looking into pediatricians for our little one. Does anyone have any recommendations in Fairfax, McLean, or Vienna?

Thanks.

Northern Virginia Pediatrics in Falls Church. It is off Great Falls Street right by the library and farmer's market (about 10 min from McLean). You can call the office to schedule and open house visit.

We live in Vienna and take our kids to Virginia Pediatric Group (they have offices near Fairfax Hospital and Reston Hospital). I really like Dr. Fishelberg, Dr. Weinstein and Dr. Jain.

We go to Advanced Pediatrics in Vienna and like all the doctors in that practice. Its located at the corner of 123 and East Street.

I second the rec for Virginia Pediatrics. All of the doctors we've met with have been great

I am using Advanced Peds for now but can't say I am delighted with them.

I read bad reviews about Virginia Pediatric Group. They say doctors are good but the office staff is tremendously rude and that every appointment last between 10 and 20 min. If it last longer, there charge you more.
Just wondering if anyone here had that experience.

17:25 here - I've never experienced that. I've really liked all of the nurses and I really have minimal interaction with the people who check us in (just to sign in and pay the copay), although they've been fine, too. The appointments last as long as I want them to last, although I'm not the type who asks a ton of questions. I just took my two kids in last month for a 6 month and 4 year check-up and I was with the doctor for at least half an hour. Granted, that was for two kids, but I didn't feel rushed at all.

I really like both Dr. Martin and Dr. Weaver at Advanced Pediatrics. I am not a big fan of Dr. Schwartz. The doctors are available by email, which is a great service.

Children's Medical Associates in Fairfax. They are terrific and have Saturday and Sunday (very ill child) hours. We go to the Alexandria location but have gone to Fairfax many Sundays! I recommend Dr. Atiyeh, but they are all great.
