Not looking for the healthiest, but which one of these is a healthier option?
Subway: 6" veggie delight on wheat (bunch of veggies plus oil + vinegar, no cheese) Chipotle: Salad bowl - lettuce, brown rice, black beans, pepper + onions, corn salsa, green salsa, maybe a little bit of sour cream I know it's better to skip rice or sour cream, but of the above two options, which one is better? |
I always thought the chipotle ingredients seemed fresher. Also the beans have protein and will hold you better until your next meal.
That said, i don't think either is bad. |
I think they are both fine but subway with the bread is probably more carbs even compared to the rice bowl.
BUT skip the oil on the sub and sour cream on the bowl and it reduces the calories and fat. |
Subway. Check out the calories on Chipotle menu. |
I vote Subway -- Chipotle is too salty over processed for me. With subway I can choose to add a ton of veggies and add oil and vinegar as my dressing. Plus it's cheaper. ; )
|
calories wise Subway is def less calories. |
Chipotle " over processed" Umm subway is mostly deli meats |
Subway is definitely fewer calories. |
Subway is fewer calories, but I would feel more satisfied with chipotle and would not need to eat until dinner. With subway I always want a snack a few hours later. |
Exactly - the Subway sandwich is just veggies and airy bread. The beans and rice in Chipotle will definitely keep you full longer. |
In general, Subway, but given the menu the OP posted, Chipotle. |
Subway, but add some protein like sliced turkey or grilled chicken. I would be starving in a couple of hours with just a half veggie sub. |
Subway bread always tastes like chemicals to me. I vote the Chipotle option because you can pretty much identify everything in it and it all tastes as it should do. |
This is like asking: Which is a less painful way to die? Heart attack or heat stroke?
Neither is particularly healthy, OP. |
The Subway sandwich is pretty darn healthy. |
