He was a convicted rapist, convicted felon, and they still voted for him. They will still support him, no matter what. I suspect it’s much much worse than we anticipate otherwise they wouldn’t have to strategize about this privately.

But Members of Congress listen. Personally, I have called a few GOP/MAGA offices and left messages asked, unless they are pedophiles, why are they covering for a pedophile? They pay attention because this is a huge campaign issue for Democrats to use against them.

Yes! Earlier in this thread, people were trying to blame the victims by saying they should have known better, even at 13 or 14 years old. We have different laws for kids for this very reason! Their brains are still developing!

I honestly think Trump shot himself in the foot here and made himself look even more guilty - Blanche interviews Maxwell —> she moves to a cushy prison —> she says Trump is innocent. They are not even trying to be convincing at this point. I guess they realize they don’t need to be. As long as they go through the motions, congress will get him out of it.
