Why is Hero's in the B bracket at Lax for the Cure?

Since Lax for the Cure is a championship format they try to split the top teams into two brackets so that more top teams make it to the championship round. If you look at the brackets the Scarlet division and Salmon division both get 3 teams moving on, Ruby gets 2 and the rest get 1. People would complain that the championship part was not fair as top teams were getting knocked out early while playing an uneven schedule in pool play. Based on ranking Pride should definitely be in either Scarlet or Salmon but tournament directors do not always comply with requests.

Not a troll post. Around here we think of Hero’s as a DC/MD team, is why Hero’s does not get much of a trashing on this forum. We are proud of ALL of the DC-area players.

DMV girls should give Hero’s a look. #1 ranked program in the country and if you are in MoCo, not much further than driving to Capital without all the pre-tryout clinics and paranoia.

Most of the big Maryland teams are settled except for a few slots. Hero's 2028 still has plenty of areas to improve on, so don't think they are stacked at every position.

Yes, M and D having three girls leaving is really settled. There is so much movement right now it is ridiculous. So VA girls, now is the time to make your move to the Top rated program in the country. The program that puts more girls at the top colleges than anyone else

A 5-star recruit probably doesn't belong in the "random VA girl" bucket.

There is not a player at Stars or Pride that would improve them. In fact, because talent is so evenly spread among the top few MD teams there are very few players in the state that would improve them. At this level, when everyone is settled, unless you can recruit a start from out of state the difference really is about coaching.

The top teams also have to worry about how a new addition, even if she an incredible player, could mess up the chemistry of the team.
