| Good morning! I'm having trouble finding bedding for DD's "big girl" bed. I'm ready to switch her out of her toddler bed but can't find bedding...Pottery Barn Kids has some pretty stuff but I really don't want to spend $189 on a kids quilt. Where else should I look? I'm thinking pretty and simple. Ideas? |

| I had luck at Bed Bath and Beyond. Home Goods is hit or miss, but you can often find good things there. I don't think Target stuff is good enough quality. Online - check out The Company Store. |

| Any of the above. But I did not mind paying a lot for my kids big kid bedding because they kept it through high school. They got to buy new bedding to take to college, but the bedding I bought them at age two is still on their home bed. |

other sheets: Company Store duvet cover: mine from college (Company Store and BB&B?), Target Shabby Chic duvet: mine from college bed skirt: Target? thin cotton quilt: church craft fair? gift from MIL When she first moved to a twin bed, I bought a bedding set from Save the Children (possibly through Amazon?). Sheets, comforter, bed skirt, sham, junior pillow. The sheets were scratchy, but the rest were OK. But I think the sheets from Lands End and the various other items have been a better value. And easier to mix and match and "grow" with her personality. |

| If you're okay with plain sheets instead of ones that have princesses on them or whatever, I actually love the Target sheets that we bought recently for our bed - Threshold brand. It is the best fitted sheet I have ever had - stays on really well and even has tags to specify side vs top/bottom. I can't speak to the quality of their kids' stuff though. |

| JC Penney. Look online and then search for coupons for free shipping and such. I've bought several sets of kids' bedding there, with coordinating curtains and all. Cute stuff, good material. |

+1. I got my daughter a great quilt at HomeGoods after the first two from Pottery Barn fell apart. |

Agreed. Cheap and disgusting. The comforter was probably so stiff with bodily fluids that it probably could have walked to college on its own. |
