I actually felt bad for RR, he looks like he’s lost a lot of weight and the stress is very visible in his appearance. They’re all human beings. I’m not following the case or this thread because it’s gotten too into the weeds with the legal stuff. But I can see the toll this has taken on him (BL looks as beautiful as ever). It had to be hard to go to an event where they would’ve previously been the king and queen. Their reputation has taken a huge hit.
It's the SNL 50th reunion tonight and actually I think their appearance there means the opposite -- I think Ari Emanuel coming out to defend them and then them showing up to a big industry event with a ton of A-listers is a sign that the industry is choosing a side and it's them.
And Reynolds was featured in a sketch.
They will be fine.
And he joked about the drama!!
Hoping a clip pops up.
Oh it will and this is going to look so bad to the public. What is wrong with RR and BL? Are they this out of touch?
No. SNL is scripted. If they’re willing to deliver scripted jokes on this, industry has 100% chosen sides. Theirs.
Please explain Taylor Swift, arguably the most powerful woman in the industry.
TS hasn’t said a word. TS would never say a word. I virtually guarantee that TS and BL will still be friends when this all shakes out. Also, TS isn’t in their industry in the same way that SNL is.
I disagree. I don’t think Taylor liked being called Blake’s dragon and being dragged into this mess. She will drop them for good. The fact that she didn’t have them at the Super Bowl speaks volumes.
DP, but I think Swift hates Scooter Braun more and Braun is all tied up in Wayfarer and friends with Baldoni etc.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i21xmCbd8iw (Wayfarer production discussing #MeToo, led by Baldoni asking How can we learn from #MeToo to shape the next generation of men? Where the current generation of men includes
Justin Baldoni, Matt McGorry, Tony Porter, Lewis Howes,
Scooter Braun,
Jamey Heath, Susan Brison, Alma Gonzalez and Yazmin Monet Watkins. (Only the men are at the roundtable though lol.) But time will tell.
