What do Atheists believe?

Maybe just unsatisfied?

OP, if you could just tell us what we were supposed to say, we can see if we can do that for you. I'm just not sure what posts from atheists that you would not rant and rail against would look like.

That's a good idea. It might make OP happier.

I am not anti-religion in a religion forum, so I believe you are the one with issues.

Isn’t there an atheist forum you can delve deeply into?

Non-believer drawn to religion.

The last thing I would do as a believer is hang out in an atheist forum.

It’s extremely Freudian for you to do so.

Sorry about that. Hope you do find what you really want, somewhere. Good luck.

Not real, you mean.

Poor OP. So angry.

umm hmmm. Atheist and a psychic. Impressed.

If you can tell me what drink I am sipping right now= mind blown

I don't have to be psychic to tell that you're angry at the world. You are essentially writing that in all caps in every single one of your posts.

I see a thread asking me, an atheist, what atheists believe in Recent Topics, and that is "hanging out" at a religious forum? You have serious issues, OP.

I do wish you peace, because I think you genuinely need it.

So, OP (I'm assuming you are OP?) -- there is no response to your thread you would be happy with? Not if it came from an atheist?

Well, that's a real conundrum for you. I can't figure out why you started the thread, then.

If you want to see real anger, check out the Chris Pratt thread.

Chris Pratt was roundly attacked by atheists here for expressing his belief in God.

You can characterize someone as angry to your heart’s delight, but wishing doesn’t make it so.

From that thread:

Nine rules? Wow, cocaine is awesome.

Charlatan

Beware false prophets.

And you wonder why people hate the condescending proselytizing? JFC.

He’s really not very intelligent, is he? Sort of like a large, lovable, but stupid dog.

Along with posts stating he cheated on his wife, and a removal of a post that stated his son was autistic and caused his divorce.

Ah yes, so very kind.

Ok then. Athiests wish OP well, OP turns nasty. I'm guessing It's OP.

Harassing Jeff to rearrange the forum did nothing. Encouraging believers to not post here ended up deleted I believe.

Start a non-sensical thread that ends up 20+ pages long. Ask a question, but remain hell bent on not accepting the answers.

How sad.

No that is incorrect, even if you are tongue-in-cheek.

Atheists are people who do not have a belief in a god or gods.

What’s the difference? Is there something you believe in that is more important than yourself?

I literally don't understand the question. There are lots of things that are "more important than myself," but that fact/belief doesn't particularly alter my behavior in any way. What do you or would you do differently because you believe in God?

I didn’t say anything about behavior. I am saying that atheists don’t believe in the existence of anything larger or more important than themselves. Pp said I was wrong, but no one gave an example of something they DO believe in.

DO you think intangible ideals can't be larger or more important than a given individual, or just that atheists can't believe in them?

I think atheists can’t believe in them.
Prove me wrong. What do you believe in?

I think you can't bring yourself to discuss this in good faith.

Prove me wrong. Convince me you aren't trying to have an inauthentic conversation.

If this is OP, this is not somebody who is interested in an authentic discussion with atheists.

I think OP is actually pretty troubled and may have realized that deep down she doesn't believe either, and that really distresses her.

Hi! This is not OP. I am super busy today, so I haven’t responded. Most of the atheists I know are sort of like the John Lennon song “imagine” and believe there is “nothing to kill or die for. “
I keep hearing that I am wrong, and there are atheists on here who believe in things greater than themselves, and I think that’s worth a conversation. So, what is it? Capitalism, babies, families, puppies? What do you believe in.
I know I am being kind of antagonistic, but I am finding it crazy making that people keep saying they have live their lives in a certain way because of something more important than themselves, but then refusing to say what that thing is.

Uh huh. I could surmise that since you are incredibly narrow minded and nasty, all Christians are the same. Seen one, seen 'em all.

According to your approach.

Determined to hate. Where is that in the Ten Commandments?

I'm gusessing you never read the beginning of the thread, then. because there were a lot of answers there.

You could go back and reread now, though!

I'm taking it as an honest question. You might find it very helpful to go back and reread the thread from the beginning.

NP. If any of you is bored by now with attacking OP, this post raises some great questions.

Or, just ignore actual questions and go back to attacking OP, like the posts between the one above and my post here have chosen to do.
