I think Jenna is great sidekick material, but she's not lead host material.
Kathie Lee = main host Hoda - sidekick Hoda - main host Jenna - sidekick Just because the formula has always been for the sidekick to take over the main hosting position doesn't mean it needs to continue. But yes, the optics of replacing Hoda with someone else and keeping Jenna the sidekick would not be great. |
