Baby will only nap with cat in crib.. would you allow it?

These late posters who have no clue the evolution of this thread are beyond obnoxious. OP, ignore them. By now we all love your baby and her bodyguard. Totally brightens my day. I even signed up to follow on tumblr. I just wish I could get as much good sleep as your baby. She always looks so comfy! And I hope she's feeling better now!

I watch the video of babies when she was six months old and it makes me smile and melts my stress away. I love to see Baby come over to snuggle and give Amelia a kitty hug. Makes me wish I could reach through cyper space and get a hug, too.

OP, I have cats and their tails look much longer than Baby's. Did he meet with an accident because a cat I had growing up had to have tip end of his tail removed. Don't remember why now.

When Baby was a much younger kitty, my little brother accidentally shut the tip of his tail in a bedroom door. The vet had to remove several inches of his tail, and Baby had to walk around wearing this sad little bandage over his tail stump for the next couple of weeks. He had some weird phantom tail issues for a while, but seems to be pretty at peace with it now.

I'm the PP who mentioned her friend's daughter dying off SIDS.

Just in case anybody's interested I talked to her today. They're still under investigation by CPS. She's not allowed to be alone unsupervised with her older children. They're still sleeping in different homes Even though the autopsy report is already out and it says the baby died of SIDS.

Just in case you don't know CPS investigates every infant's death. Like grieving the loss of your eight week old baby is not bad enough She is to not able to spend time with her older children.
