The nukes are really just abstract (unless used), but oil really is the way Iran floats itself financially, and it’s totally exposed. I would take out 10% immediately, just as a shot across the bow. Saudi and US could easily replace Iran’s output.
Yes and Iran will hit Israel oil….oh wait Israel does not produce anything but terrorism.
Iran can’t hit anything, their AF sucks and Iron Dome.
There are videos of Tel Aviv being hit?
Debris from missile intercepts.
You aren't seeing the videos. There are definitely Iranian missiles making it through the Iron Dome. [twitter]https://x.com/SanaSaeed/status/1933592180184006762[/twitter]
The difference is that Israel targeted military targets and Iran targeted civilians. Typical for terrorists.
Glad you agree Israel’s targeting of Palestinian civilians is typical terrorist behavior.
I'm seeing videos of injured and dead children in Tehran. Israel just can't help themselves when it comes to killing civilians especially women and children. They convince everyone it's a military operation but when they have the opportunity to kill a few children along the way, they begin salivating.
Sure you are. Iran also claims they shot down 2 Israel planes. They didn’t. Propaganda from Iran.
Well Iran is the victims of the radical extremists.
So is Israel and the U.S.
I’d rather live in the us or Israel than Iran…
And this validates war, how? Culture wars are a waste of time and money. May as well burn a trillion dollars to the ground now
It doesn’t validate war. But Iran has a nuclear program and won’t strike a deal. I prefer a diplomatic solution but in absence of that, what is supposed to be done? Us doesn’t want to invade so Israel is taking care of it or at least starting it.
Also, the post was that dcum keeps fawning over Hamas, the Iranians and Palestinians as if they’re all victims. They’re not all equal and many certainly are not victims. You can disagree with Israel’s politics and also realize Iran must be neutralized.
100%. This a moment in time where history can be made by the IDF. Let them do their job. |
Iran is led by a moderate who wants peace and relations with America.
Iran's current president, Masoud Pezeshkian, is considered a moderate, and he was elected in a runoff election against hardline candidate Saeed Jalili. Pezeshkian is a 69-year-old former health minister and heart surgeon who currently serves in the national parliament. His election followed the death of previous president Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash |
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian told the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in 2024 that he wants to open a “constructive” chapter in his country’s international relations and that Tehran is “ready to engage” with the West over its nuclear programme.
In his first speech at the UN’s annual gathering of world leaders on Tuesday, Pezeshkian also strongly criticised Israel for what he called “its genocide in Gaza” and its “atrocities”, “crimes against humanity” and “desperate barbarism” in its war on the Palestinian territory as well as attacks on Lebanon. “I aim to lay a strong foundation for my country’s entry into a new era, positioning it to play an effective and constructive role in the evolving global order,” Pezeshkian told the UNGA. |
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Monday that Iran does not seek a wider war in the Middle East and that such a conflict would have no winners.
“We don’t want war. ... We want to live in peace,” Pezeshkian told reporters during a visit to New York for the U.N. General Assembly meeting. We don’t wish to be the cause of instability in the region." Pezeshkian called for dialogue to resolve the volatile situation in the Middle East and blamed Israel for stoking tensions and instigating conflict, citing assassinations in Tehran and elsewhere that he said Israel had carried out. “We know more than anyone else that if a larger war were to erupt in the Middle East, it will not benefit anyone throughout the world. It is Israel that seeks to create this wider conflict,” he said. |
The real reason Israel hate Iran is they don’t bite their tongue like the Arab nations about the Palestinians or Gaza.
Pezeshkian also slammed the U.S. and other Western countries for what he called double standards as they criticized Iran over human rights but ignored Israel’s “atrocities” in Gaza. Asked about the possibility of negotiating a new agreement with the U.S. about its nuclear program, Pezeshkian said Iran is interested not in a new nuclear deal but in a return to the 2015 nuclear accord that the U.S. pulled out of in 2018. “Let’s go back to step one,” he said. If all sides lived up to that agreement, Tehran might consider new talks, he said. Pezeshkian, who was elected this year and portrays himself as a relative moderate, also said Iran could not dictate to Houthi forces that are attacking shipping in the Red Sea. The Houthis, he said, were reacting to what he called the unjust plight of Palestinians in Gaza. “How can we ask them to abstain?” he said. “They are trying to stop genocide.” Pezeshkian, asked about assessments by U.S. intelligence agencies that Iran was trying to promote campus protests in the U.S. against Israel, rejected the accusation and said it was “childish.” “People around the world are protesting because they are outraged at the situation in Gaza and do not need to be bribed to take to the streets”, he added. |
61 days of talks were going no where. I'm glad Israel pulled the lever. Talking with them is useless. Iran is our enemy also with all the Explosively Formed Penetration (EFP) devices they killed US troops with in Iraq. |
But you ARE the cause of instability in the region and you have been since 1979. |
