Biden Insiders Confess He Was Severely Cognitively Impaired

So, what do we make of the fact that the Democrats flagrantly lied for over a year about Biden's mental degeneration, even going as far as to claiming it was Russian disinformation?

At this point, I think we can safely say that it is true that an unelected cabal took over Biden's presidency because he was not able to govern.

How do we square this kind of power-hungry betrayal of voters and America with the claim that Democrats are defending democracy?

https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/columnist/2025/04/06/books-biden-health-fight-uncharted/82791100007/

The books:

“Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again” by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson

“Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House” by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes

“2024: How Trump Retook the White House and the Democrats Lost America” by Josh Dawsey, Tyler Pager and Isaac Arnsdorf

“Uncharted: How Trump Beat Biden, Harris, and the Odds in the Wildest Campaign in History” by Chris

Revelations:

Vice President Kamala Harris' aides were so concerned about the president's health that they "strategized around the possibility that Biden might die in office." The authors report that Jamal Simmons, the vice president's communications director, drew up a “death-pool roster” of federal judges who could swear in Harris as president if Biden died.

Ron Klain, a longtime aide to Biden and his former White House chief of staff, helped the president prepare for his fateful debate with Trump last year. Klain told Whipple that Biden “didn’t know what Trump had been saying and couldn’t grasp what the back and forth was.”

Klain also described how Biden “didn’t really understand what his argument was on inflation” and “had nothing to say about a second term other than finish the job.”

Klain viewed Biden, then 81, as “out of it” and even “half-seriously” worried that Biden thought he was “president of NATO.”

Books about Trump's mental state (remember he not only exhibits mental decline, but a severe personality disorder):

"Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House" - Omarosa Manigault Newman (2018)
A former Trump aide, Omarosa claims she observed a "mental decline" in Trump during his presidency, contrasting his sharpness in 2003 with later confusion and forgetfulness, suggesting possible dementia.

"The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump" - Edited by Bandy X. Lee (2017, updated 2019)
This collection of essays by mental health experts includes speculation about "incipient dementia" from contributors like Jeffrey A. Lieberman, based on Trump’s behavior and speech.

"Too Much and Never Enough" - Mary L. Trump (2020)
Trump’s niece, a clinical psychologist, links his behavior to family history (noting Fred Trump Sr.’s Alzheimer’s) and implies cognitive decline, though she avoids a formal dementia diagnosis.

"Trump on the Couch" - Justin A. Frank (2018)
A psychoanalyst explores Trump’s mental state, hinting at cognitive decline with aging, though dementia isn’t the sole focus.

"Twilight of American Sanity: A Psychiatrist Analyzes the Age of Trump" - Allen Frances (2017)
Written by a prominent psychiatrist, this book critiques Trump’s mental fitness and the societal context of his presidency. While Frances avoids diagnosing dementia explicitly (adhering to the Goldwater Rule), he raises concerns about Trump’s cognitive and emotional stability, leaving room for readers to consider decline-related possibilities.

"The Divider: Trump in the White House, 2017–2021" - Peter Baker and Susan Glasser (2020)
While not focused solely on dementia, it documents instances of erratic behavior that some interpret as signs of cognitive issues.

…and? WGAS?

- not a Republican, not a Trump voter

This is an anonymous time-wasting site where we can talk about politics and recipes and TV. Why the F are centrist Democratic candidates and legacy media doofs like Jake Tapper off the table? Did people pretending Biden was not too old til too late in the game get Harris elected? Since I’ve never voted for Trump, what’s the point in screaming at me that Trump is a crackhead diaper wearing incompetent failed business leader criminal president? Dude. I know. People are permitted to observe that “our side” also supported only gerontocratic candidates. Can we not discuss how bad that is as a policy?

I don’t disagree but even Biden in a coma would be better than this current shitshow

DCUM's finest weren't admitting anything about cognitive or physical decline while Biden was president.

Were you lost last summer? There were a *ton* of threads of people who didn’t want Biden to run. Some about age, some about Israel, etc. Yes, from democrats. Who went on to not vote for Biden. That’s why no one is impressed by your yelling now, it was debated when it was relevant and now people are looking at The Present.

Exactly. Democrats knew Biden was making zero presidential decisions.

He was their useful idiot.

WGAS about Biden?

He didn't wreck the economy, destroy alliances and turn our friends into enemies, he didn't start a stupid pointless global trade war, and cause all kinds of other chaos and destruction in his first 100 days of office. Biden is harmless, licking ice cream cones in Delaware. Who gives a shit.

TRUMP is the problem. And nobody, not even "left leaning" mainstream media is calling Trump out for his obvious mental deterioration. Every Republican is going along with whatever latest deranged nonsense comes out of Trump's mouth as if it were gospel handed down by God himself. Can we not discuss how bad of a policy that is?

I was sounding the alarm early in 2020 when Biden was pushed as the nominee. A 1st term POTUS being inaugurated at 78 years old will never end well! Now we are paying that price with a second Trump second term.

I thought Biden was impaired and I also believe Trump is impaired and has been for years. I was thrilled I didn’t have to vote for one of them, but if I had to I would have picked Biden because I had more faith in the team around him being competent.

The mainstream media is right wing.

This is a huge problem with republicans and democrats. They don’t know when to retire and they won’t vote in a retirement age.

I don't give a damn about Biden when the maniac in the white house is certifiably insane.

But many people did when Biden was President but they were ignored and ridiculed. Turns out they were right. Now they seem to be extending that same courtesy to you.

Biden was awful. Second worst POTUS ever no doubt and I will never forgive him for delivering the easy 2024 victory to Trump. This being said; Biden's and Trump's awfulness can't be equated.

A babbling vegetable brain can do much less long term damage to the country than an unhinged and reckless con man who thinks he knows everything about everything.
