NP. Sont kid yourself. It’s the extremes of both colors versus the rationale people. |
This person isn't conversing in good faith. They are just freaking out that we are done with them. |
100% plus not hearing the other side of the story. I never once heard a Dem candidate in the last election cycle, or any cycle, talk about the trans issue. No one I know cares much about it at all. |
It is actually both sides. But your cult beliefs don’t let you see that. |
Women also voted for Trump. All flavors of people are susceptible to misinformation. |
Yeah, this person is no good. |
It's not both sides. Not wanting Republicans to impose overly oppressive rules around transgender people isn't religious. I think that athletic organizations should develop their own policies that try to balance fairness and inclusions, not a blanket ban. That's not cultish. |
| This person is some Heritage Foundation tool trying to sow discord on among anti-fascists. Ignore. |
Yup. |
LOL. "This person's" (me) spouse was a Dem presidential appointee in charge of providing services to a traditionally undeserved minority community nationally, has brown kids, and donated to/voted for Obama (x2), Clinton, Biden, and Harris. tldr? You're literally 100% mistaken. |
The minorities there that I know were more tired of the lip service paid to them by the rave-appropriate good party not misinformation. They had the information. Several are still waiting and see what happens. 🤷♀️ |
I have been thinking about this a lot lately. I have some family members that I genuinely think are good people who voted for this administration. It’s hard to understand but I think it boils down to 1) lack of information/misinformation- I saw Fox News on the other day at my gym and it was so bizarre. If that’s what I watched I would probably think “ the libs” were public enemy #1 too. Now that we have media that is willing to 100 percent cater to specific points of view I don’t know how we will ever get people to understand where others are coming from again. 2) The power of false equivalency. I have heard plenty of people say they didn’t like Trump but they COULDN’T vote for Harris because of some bizarre reason like she didn’t do enough interviews. Or when noting the awful things Trump was accused of by women saying well Harris’ husband had an affair during her first marriage so same thing. I mean it boogles the mind but I think they really believe it. Any time I can provide accurate information or challenge some of those mental gymnastics I consider it a win. If I hear someone outright saying something awful of course I push back on it though. |
Dp. Nope. I'm ignoring. You are free to associate with maga. Not me. |
That is certainly 1 view point. Or, those who shriek the most likely have something to hide. Expose. Expose. Expose. Better way to go about it, for sure, but I for one cannot believe the FEMA efforts, or lack of, in Hawaii and NC to now find out our taxpayer dollars were instead funded hotel stays for newcomers in NYC. Tip of the iceberg. |
Then you're putting your feelings and precious ideological purity above actually accomplishing anything. You are, in short, the equivalent of a Jill Stein voter in a swing state. |
