Guys, I was obsessed with this story the first go-around, and think she's absolutely insane. That said, Instagram keeps feeding me her content, and I gotta say she does seem to really love her kids, and they do seem genuinely happy. I have some notes on the makeup and eyelashes on the older daughter, but they otherwise seem like a happy group of kids.

I knew a lady who went all in on her husband's culture (a random Eastern European nation.) She learned the language, attended the church, made self-deprecating remarks about the people, cooked the food. But her maiden name was something like Smith and she had zero of that heritage.
My own sister has done something similar with her husband's culture, but it is obvious to onlookers because he's not white and we are. If she could get away with it I'm sure she'd larp as a true blue (ethnicity).
Honestly I'm most impressed that these people can learn a new language as an adult so fluently. The rest of it is just silly.

I don't really see the issue with this at all: Her dh is from that culture, her kids are partly from that culture. What is bad about wanting to relate, understand and help pass heritage on? Hilaria's case is much weirder because there is no connection other than her parents moving there when she was older.

I might be one of the very few people who watched their show and enjoyed it. Yes, she's totally weird, but the kids seem sweet and normal and she and Alec seem like an interesting couple. I also like that their house and apartment are not perfectly decorated and sort of messy.

They’ve put it on and taken it off the market a few times. It’s a beautiful home, but overpriced even for the Hamptons. Someone spending that much has plenty of nice choices much closer to the beaches, and a lot of the land is restricted to agricultural use and can’t be developed or subdivided.
