American Riviera Orchard and Meghan Markle

Sweetie, most of us amused by this endeavor are not budget, busted wannabes. That would be Meghan’s target audience, although I’m touched by anyone who doesn’t see this soft launch as shoddy, silly, and signaling doom rather than watch out, Martha. Actually, though, since Meghan has rewritten her jank podcast’s crash and burn onto a lesser network as a massive success, maybe the success of American Riviera Orchard Bespoke Nut Butters will succeed on a scale not seen by Bloomberg. Right?

Sweetie..I think we all get it. That's the point of all these posts. Try reading compression- right?

All this vitriol is sad.

Why so triggered…. Hmmmm

PP a few pages back was correct: Meghan was hoping to "break the internet."

She'll be "broke" soon, so she's at least got that part right.

I don’t love the idea of yet another celebrity lifestyle brand, but what else is MM supposed to do? I loved her on Suits but I can see why she wouldn’t want to be a struggling actress. I don’t think she has any other work history and I can’t see her working a corporate job. So lifestyle influencer actually sounds like a good fit.

As for Harry, I don’t know where he goes from here. Speaking engagements, maybe? Working for a non-profit?

So much hate for the world’s most relatable yummy mummy (and Harry), who just want to help you live more graciously by giving up your email address.

Nobody likes a complainer so he can’t even be a motivational speaker. What would he speak on?

I don’t know. I feel bad for the guy. He’s accustomed to a certain lifestyle and I can’t think of a single job / occupation that he’s qualified for, that would allow him to can support himself and his family at the level he wants.

I sense he only got like $10M or so from Diana and Elizabeth’s estates, and that doesn’t go that far. Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe he inherited a boat load of cash and he’s set and MM is just doing this because she truly wants to.

I stand corrected! Thank you PP, I didn’t know he had a job. And it seems like a good fit.

He talks about mental health and overcoming trauma. But I agree that I don’t find him inspiring or helpful. He’s built a brand on being a victim. There’s nothing noble in whining while living a privileged life. There’s nothing inspirational about not being able to get over your mother’s death. There’s nothing motivational about a guy who doesn’t have a real job and hasn’t accomplished anything in decades.

I agree. The very public path he’s taken suggests he has not overcome anything, and has chosen to use his mother’s death as a manipulative tool. MMV.

I didn’t say he overcame trauma. I said that’s what he talks about: mental health and overcoming trauma. That’s his brand: a grown man with a very public history of screwing up and doing nothing notable who rebranded under the bulletproof umbrella of mental health and trauma.

I’m not a fan, btw.

I agree with every word. He is fairly repellent to me.
