If you think Union is doing anything to help you are mistaken. It’s all on the player and parents.

That's generally always the case. I always cringe a little when clubs post pics of players pointing at their crests. Only real club around here is BSC.

The footprint and geography works enough for both boys and girls to be successful in ecnl. If Brave was worried about numbers and wanted to maintain any of its own operations, maybe they should have also tried for GA to give their girls options.

If anything, Union is at least educating them well on what to do, because 22 are committed to excellent D1 and D3 and schools. Imagine if the rest want to play in college, they will likely find a home too. 5 of the 12 are 2025s and have plenty of time.

This is true. I had multiple McLean players and still have one left. Do not think the coaches are doing anything to help. They may make one phone call in the end if the college coach requires it but even that is hard to get them to do.

MV again - I will be the head coach of 2008 & 2009 when we merged. I will keep a roster of 35 for each team. I might even go to 40 since my bonus is based on this.

You know Brave is not doing it. They have 15 playing at the next level in 3 years.

I thought Brave was getting kick out of ECNL. Why would they named it Fairfax first? McLean is keep it name on this merger

Again, as much as people want this rumor to be true, Brave did not get kicked out of ECNL. Not the reason for the merger.

Why merge if Brave is not getting kicked out?? Merging between the two clubs is not going to improve the team like NVA or VDA why?? why??

I only have a senior left and not with either club but if I had an ECNL player entering recruiting years I would try and break into the VDA team. VDA has a decent recruiting network and they brought Bobby over who is the absolute best recruiter in the area. Hands down. And VDA rosters aren’t huge so your kid will actually get to play. Take my word for it. Go to an ID session and see if she can break onto their team. May be tricky because I’m pretty sure FCV players may be looking there too. I think being player 13-14 on VDA is better than player 9-10 on union. That’s just my take from watching the soccer landscape over the past 7 years

You had me until the last two sentences, its better to be first 11 anywhere in NoVa (cause its all watered down anyways) than being on the bench, duh! So no VDA would not be better if you weren't first 11, nice try silly

It’s amazing! Just by switching employers, BP went from the most loathed person on this board to the most beloved.

Maybe ECNL told VDA that they needed to up their college recruiting game and nudged the BP move happen. looking back it had to be ECNL who made BRYC combine with Vienne to form BRave

Further evidence of the cult following that is ECNL girls.

BP + GA = bad
BP + ECNL = good
