The truth is with each club’s board of directors and parents should be holding them accountable for their decisions.

More likely that the decisions are from ECNL than anywhere if this is true.

Someone really took the time to make a spam site and people are falling for it.

This all seems like fake news during a slow couple of weeks since the GA announcements.

I'm impressed by the believability of some of the rumors youth soccer parents start online.

I'm also impressed by how gullible some parents are to all the manipulation that's going on.

If you want a real answer about youth soccer. Pick the best closest club to your house and just relax because it doesn't matter. Most players will quit in HS. Many of the ones that make it to playing in college will quit then. If your kid is a diamond in the rough talent coaches will find them.

It’s actually happening tho. We’re on one of the teams affected and have been told by coach. Not sure when it will be made formal but certainly soon.

MV here. Confirmed that this will happen. You heard it here first, CONFIRMED.

The same Union parents that looked down on Brave will now have to deal with Brave players on their teams. Any parents of current starters who either lose their starting spot or has their minutes reduced needs to show the new players and families the proper respect.

Pay close attention to the 08 ,09, 10, and 11 groups on the girls side. Brave has a good amount of players that can either start for Union or earn significant minutes.

This merger may produce a National Champion or two!

I hate to say it, but the merger will not produce a national champion. Putting garbage and garbage together doesn't make it gold. I am sure that Union families aren't worried about losing a spot to Brave players. I doubt the two clubs will cut players. They will combine them and have a 30 on the roster. The more players you have, the more money they make.

LOL. More like 40-50 on the roster. Have you seen the roster sizes on McLean teams?

Confirmed

34 girls on McLean/union 05/06 team! Double confirmed!!! Brave parents get ready. Your stars from your nice 15 player teams will not be playing entire games. May not even get rostered. And if you are being told otherwise just look at their roster sizes on ECNL website. They will not be taking 10 of your players and cutting 18 of their own. Buckle up buttercup

Interesting group to call out, most will just not play and are better off trying to connect with a GA club to be showcased in the spring if they are still looking to be signed. Want to bash 07/08s next? Yes this situation sucks for young girls with college asipirations what's your point? But more so proves the fact that lower leverl teams in any league can be harmful when the business and poor performances leads to this type of movement. Should stick to the true and true brands Arlington or SYC

This is so stupid, to have success you need to have a competetive training environment.

What I mean is having a big roster is not an issue. Your kid just has to compete the make the 18 and be in the mix. This is ECNL. This is the highest level of competition.

All that brochure shows me is what great college prep/placement Union is doing!

ECNL forced the clubs to come together on the boys side. The clubs did the same for the girls voluntarily.
