I don't have a real opinion here, really don't even watch the show, didn't even know who the guy is. I've seen Robach on a lot of things.
Here's what I've learned over the years FWIW. Actors and TV personalities literally become brands of themselves, and you are never watching the real person, which is why everyone becomes personally hurt or shocked when stuff like this happens. It's their job to somehow become part of our life's fabric, and we incorporate them into our own narrative. That's why when a well known celebrity dies, a piece of the fabric is ripped. Leaves a hole. They contributed to our general culture.

Becoming a brand means one loses themselves. Hoda isn't what you see (Doesn't she seem like everyone's best friend? Never not smiling), Al Roker isn't what you see, Taylor Swift, Oprah, Glenn Close, Dr. Oz (surprised you there, right?), Bill Cosby (Jeeeezus, what a story that was), etc....everyone.

They literally HAVE to be a form of a narcissist to do what we want them to do. It's a sick cycle. Their personal lives are often really $#!++y. Identity and acceptance and relationships are all skewed. They never can be themselves and can never trust others to love them for who they are. That's why child actors suffer, because they learn early on that love and kindness can be faked, that everything is transactional. All these crazy stories about sexual exploits are really all they have. It's the closest they get to love.

Lastly, amazing beauty is really a huge curse, regardless of what anyone does for a living. It doesn't seem like it would be, but it's a miserable life.

By that standard, everyone you do business with should be trustworthy. We don’t hold people’s professional careers hostage by their relationships. Plenty of people have affairs and they don’t lose their jobs.
