Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor. It's a Tyler Perry movie (no madea character) but it's so good. There's a twist in this movie that I never saw coming. Oddly enough Kim K has very small part in this movie. I think she was on screen for less than a minute.

Someone Great. It's a really fun and cute romantic comedy.

Can you Keep a Secret? Another really fun and cute romantic comedy and it's hilarious.

Eve's Bayou. It's a really haunting drama with some incredible actors. It stars a very young Jurnee Smollett (she starts in the Tyler Perry movie I mentioned above too) and also Samuel Jackson, Debbie Allen, Meagan Good, and Lynne Whitfield.

Hav Plenty. It's the true story of the writer/director and his love/admiration of an A&R exec at Def Jam back in the 90's.

Friends With Money. I just love this one. Jennifer Aniston, Joan Cusack, and Frances McDormand.

The Way, Way Back was my choice, also. I love Sam Rockwell.

+1 for The Way, Way Back. Sam Rockwell at his most adorable.

Others:

Blinded by the Light
My Brilliant Career (1979) -- Australian, with a young Judy Davis and a hot Sam Neill
