Why are older men attracted to very young women when they are older?

If you really want to bang a young woman then hire an young escort of legal age. That will be a one time financial transaction that you can repeat as long as you have the means. But if you are a 40+ years old man and think that a 20+ woman will fall
all over you then you are insane. Woman at at age are staring life…Some are thinking about kids marriage etc…..I think they are plenty of attactive woman under 50. Like today I saw this woman at the gym she may be 45 or so, sure she had wrinkles etc but she was hot!!! Nice booty nice smile beautiful hair everything lol

When I was 25 all men over 40 appeared so old !! Even the most good looking ones. I never went on a date with anyone older than 35 back then.

+1 When I was 25 my BF of 2 years was 35, very fit and good looking. He had a touch of grey at his temples. I secretly thought he was just too old and I would break it off eventually for a guy my own age. Which I did.

The apps have changed things a lot, especially for sneaky links with this current generation of zoomers.

I consistently date women in their 20s (I’m 44). And yes, they always break up with me first after a period of 2 weeks to 6 months of fun times and great sex.

Dating someone that much younger is driving down the freeway at 80 miles an hour, throwing your steering wheel out the window and seeing how long it takes until you crash.

Then I re-download Hinge and meet someone else and do it all over again. Rinse and repeat for 5 years so far without ever being fully singe more than three weeks.

Most men can’t pull this off, but some of us can.

Sounds terrible to me lol

All this was because I wanted someone who gets the same jokes and cultural references as me, and someone who had the same amount of life in their rear view mirror.

At age 56 I met the woman I will spend the rest of my life with and she's 2 years older than me. We've been together 3 years and it's the healthiest and best relationship either of us has ever had.

I never understood the whole 20+ years younger thing. I mean... once you're done having sex, what do you talk about? I want someone to grow old with and share similar experiences, perspectives, and attitudes. If dating someone who could be your daughter works for you, then it's all good. But it's not something I can see working out in the long run.

59yo male.

I talk about the same things I’ve discussed when dating women my own age when dating a women in her 20s.

Some of you guys must not know how to have a conversation.

Then you are either choosing your words carefully or have lost your sense of humor, if you ever had one.

My mother is 90, and lives in a retirement home, where she has a volunteer job.

She and the other ladies put up a poster in their back room of a hot, buff, shirtless 20 year-old guy with a six-pack, because he’s nice to look at.

Did you really think anyone in their 90s wants to look at another person in their 90s?

+1 sounds like hell and honestly embarassing.

Can't imagine getting dumped that many times without doing some self reflection

Kind of yucky too. If the women are sleeping around on the apps they probably swiped on the guys who have stds such as hsv 2. Some guys are honest and tell you others do not.

How is this even a question? Women in their 20s look objectively much better than women in their 50s. It's possible for women in their 30s and 40s to still look attractive, but there's a much, much greater chance that they'll be fat or flabby.

All women in their 20s are gen z and into body positivity and acceptance meaning they let themselves go and wear PJs to the mall and date balding fat men in their 40s or 50s.

I think after about a 25 year old gap it’s a delusion. It’s the age when one stops being sexual in thought to others in the public. Can be 60ish or maybe late 60s. The line isn’t cut and dry. But even Brad Pitt is approaching it has already approached that line for 20 year olds. Leonardo Di carpio is younger than Brad Pitt for the reference (50s vs 60s).

And this works both ways with male and female. Some men looks great at 50 and could pull a late 20s girl for sex. But they aren’t saying wow he’s the hottest man I’ve seen. They are saying he looks good for his age wow. I’d they could get a rich younger 20 year old who was mature, guess who they would pick first. Same with women 40-50s that pull 20s year old men.

But building a life is different. Somewhere after 30 ish year gap just doesn’t work. There is no biology that some 20 year old actually finds a 60 year old man hot to procreate. Maybe 0.00001 person you know but that’s it. And usually for money.

Not only do the majority of Gen Z women prefer men 10-14 years older than them, but they have no interest in dating for short term gains. They are playing the long game, looking for partners who can help give them access to the lifestyle they want and the future financial stability they crave.Oct 6, 2023

Gen z women have grown up with a cell phone in their hands since age 5 probably. For the ones who were fat and all it provided comfort that old men wanted a younger women. Their need for attention was influenced by the internet and they wanted moar. My niece whose 22 now even feigned she was raped to get attention. She went after older married men and finally went to a party school and let her inner hoe out there. I imagine it's the same for all of the messed up Gen z Gen xers raised.

As a 62 year old man I have no interest in dating much younger women. Late 40’s maybe but ideally 50+. Someone 20 years younger is from a different generation and I have no desire to pretend I’m someone I’m not. I have two mid 30s daughters and if showed up with someone around their age they’d give me so much grief. 50+ plus women are wonderful as long as they haven’t sworn off sex.

They feel they can't have sex for many more years so want to feel younger or younger women helps make them more fertile?

Sounds like you are jealous OP.

So? Younger women are more physically attractive than older women. Doesn't mean that you personally have to date them. But the OP must be really dumb if she needs to ask why plenty of older guys want to date younger women.

Among other biological reasons already discussed, a big part of it is that as women age and hormones change, they become more anxious, less joyful, and less spontaneous. Men can also turn in that direction as they age, but because of the different hormones, it is less pronounced and slower. Men love the lower anxiety and higher happiness levels.

I don’t understand the whole thing. No way could I sleep with a woman who is younger than my youngest child. Been married over 40 years to a wonderful woman who would literally do whatever I asked — as I would for her. I have a few buds that have ditched great wives for a younger woman and it has NEVER worked out. One of my best buds even put himself in the ground trying to keep with her.
No, neither one of us is as buff as we were back then, but there is a LOT to say about waking up to someone you absolutely know will stand by your side — even in a firefight. Just my humble opinion…
