Why are older men attracted to very young women when they are older?

But why would they like you other than for your money? As you say they are hotter. You like to be used when you are older?

If you have a son you should let him know about this fact of life. Women only value men on one criteria- how much money he makes or has. It does not matter the age of the women. So old fat rich guy has his pick of hot young women or old women. As you say older is not hot.

I love one of the prior posts that said "because men fear getting older." LMAO what a projection. Do women really not realize that guys don't care about getting older?! I literally have never thought about it

Not you but the mid life crisis is precisely about men fearing old age and regressing.

Scientific research indicates that the concept of a midlife crisis is just an old wives' tale. There is some evidence that some people do not have a smooth midlife transition, but it is more common in women. One survey found that less than 1 in 10 men who CLAIMED they had a midlife crisis (which was already a minority of men), said it had anything to do with thoughts about aging.

There is this thing called a subconscious. No, they think about having more fun and throwing off responsibility which other people see as a fear of aging. Do you think your kids always know why they do things as well?

I know that DCUM women think they're special and that having babies in your 40s is the norm, but from a strictly biological standpoint women are most fertile 20 years earlier than that. And that, alone, explains why men are more attracted to them. While many men don't act on the attraction and stay with women their own age, that doesn't change the attraction itself.

But often these men don't even want their own kids with the woman they had sex with in their 20's and 30's. So what's the draw for 50-60 year old divorced man to a 20 year old? I can find a 20 year old man to be attractive/hot and also not feel any emotional/romantic connection to him. I don't want to party with him or hang out with younger people all day. Or have pressure to have a child in my 40's or adopt in my 50's. None of the lifestyle is attractive. Some of these older men marry these 25 year olds.

As someone else said, it's evolutionary. It's not something that you need to think about. I don't know why simple biology is so hard for people on DCUM to understand. It's been explained like two or three times in this thread alone. Do you understand that evolution is the process of adapting for survival over many different environments over a loooooong period of time? Young women are attractive because they can have babies easily and this promotes survival of the species. Men can have kids easily at pretty much any age. The end.

To hell with fertility. Younger women are prettier, they choose to be prettier, and they are less cranky.

This simply isn't true. It's a requirement that they can support a family. Beyond that many women want other things. All the other threads show off this fact.

Why are you so triggered? Women age and cannot be alone. Do you not understand that women and children need protection and money throughout their lifetime? It's not all about you on this planet.

And if the men leave for younger women and leave their kids and their mom don't those men grow up more immature and less likely to make money? Seems like a dead end situation.

They feel they can't have sex for many more years so want to feel younger or younger women helps make them more fertile?

I don’t think men grow more attracted to young women as they get older. I think that they’ve probably always been attracted to younger women. Dating them went unnoticed for a good portion of their lives. As they get older it just stands out more. Also, men progress through life at a slower pace than women do. Lots of guys never had the opportunity or missed the chance to date attractive women when they were younger for a number of reasons including interpersonal skills, wealth, confidence, attractiveness(being a late bloomer), etc.

I'm mainly talking about the men who leave their older wives and kids to marry or date 20-30 year olds. Growing up I never saw this but I see it talked about more these days.

Ya, it generally is a terrible situation for the women they marry. The situation with the ex wife and older kids is often intolerable. The resentment builds up over the years and soon he's truly an old man, and she's over it. Why stick it out with someone who's let you down over and over again when they really start showing their age? You need A LOT of goodwill to overcome significant age gaps, and in situations with first families, there's rarely any there.

27 is the hottest age for women. I don't make the rules.

Well, youth is beauty- so, I don’t know about choosing to be prettier. Less CRANKY-absolutely. Less stress, responsibilities and disappointment. They are fresh and even if you marry them, you have a good run before life makes them jaded. Hopefully, they will be financially dependent on you and unable to leave once the cruel realities set in.

Aside from beauty, they’re also sexual powehouses. They need sex just as bad as men do and anyone whos been in a relationship with lopsided drives knows how painful that can be. They’re still interested in having fun, trying new things and care about pleasing their partner.
