If that's all that happened to Bob Saget, his family wouldn't be trying to block the full report.

Florida actually has a codified privacy statute regarding autopsy photos arising out of the Dale Earnhardt case. His widow sued to have the extremely gruesome autopsy from his fatal crash removed from the public record after a newspaper requested them for publication. It may be that his widow is just trying to keep death images from leaking out to the internet for all to see. I would do the same for my loved one, not necessarily anything sinister going on.

But the whole internet is speculating that it is something far more than a ground level fall. If there was nothing weird, they would release pertinent info that proves it was just a fall and say “He fell. Happy? Now leave it alone.” Whatever it is, it’s bad enough that it’s worse than the speculation.

NP here- yes. But you also presumably 1) haven't been a celebrity and dealt with the level of scrutiny that celebrities receive even for dumb things, 2) aren't mourning 3) aren't mourning in public. I can see a wife in this situation just feeling overwhelmed and not thinking straight despite what PR people say and ordering "I just don't want to deal with more of it make no more info public because I can't handle another round of this" even if it's not sensical and she has no choice

It could simply be she is trying to avoid a Kobe situation. I think the wording in the lawsuit is suspicious with trying to keep all details hidden. And the type of fractures he had isn't consistent with a fall. This is likely her lawyer advising her to do this.

The reports about the room was that he was in a typical sleeping position in bed ,the room was tidy and everything was in order and only his stuff was there.

I think it was as simple as that.

He was 65, not 80! Did you read the autopsy report? You don't get that kind of trauma from a bathroom fall. His trauma equalled that of either someone who was hit with a baseball bat, or was in car accident.

If you aren't actually family it's really time to move on.

+1 get a life people! His family deserves privacy. You are not entitled to know how he died.

Stop quoting info that is not in the autopsy report, that's not what it stated. 65, Covid+ and on multiple sleep meds? Entirely possible to be weak/out of it and have a very hard fall.

Several doctors have weighed in that his specific combination of injuries and their severity would be unlikely (not impossible) to result from a simple bathroom fall, even from his height of 6’4”.
