"The chickens will supposedly be slaughtered on U.S. soil and then sent to China for processing. There will be no USDA supervision on site at the 4 approved plants in China." |
|
Ugh.
|
| Now you will be paying $20 for a box with "made in the USA" label |
| Stopped buying those years ago. |
| Me too. Just say no to all chicken nuggets. |
| Chickity China the Chinese chicken |
|
OK, so there is the option of swearing off chicken nuggets forever.
However, could one alleviate the chances of getting "Chinese chicken" by buying organic nuggets? |
I don't know. I would really read the labeling or do some research to find where your chicken is coming from, in any given situation. |
|
This made me fall out laughing. |
Agreed. Well played! |
| We only buy Perdue Simply Smart chicken nuggets, chickens grown here in Maryland. I find it unlikely that the Perdue family is going to start shipping their chickens to China to have them processed into nuggets when they have the facilities to do it themselves. |
You're not even smart enough to know that one does not grow chickens. Go ahead, buy your Chickity Chinese Chickens!
|
| I make chicken nuggets at home from Super Healthy chickens, and freeze them in batches. |
| Do we really need chicken nuggets? Really? |
