You're not even smart enough to know that one does not grow chickens. Go ahead, buy your Chickity Chinese Chickens!

Sorry, but I have to agree. Seriously, you trust Perdue because of that nice man on the commercials??? I don't even trust Perdue now. If I were going to trust any chicken processing company, it would be Bell & Evans.

Perdue and China both already do business with China. It's not a huge stretch to think they'd take the next step.

I'm wondering about restaurants.

We only get Bell & Evans chicken nuggets (they frequently go on sale, last week was buy 1 get 1). I may give them a call and see if they're planning on outsourcing any part of their chicken nugget making.

21:27 here: From the article, it appears that only pre-cooked chicken nuggets may be processed in China without labeling. The Bell & Evans chicken nuggets are not pre-cooked, you have to put them in the oven for a half hour to heat/cook them.

I'll keep an eye on other chicken nugget brands I run across.

This is good news. We finally have a solution to cutting down on the consumption of one of the more popular junk foods. People will either die from eating them or get really sick and never eat them again. We should outsource all our junk food to China. Obesity will then be mostly something of the past.

They are so easy to make yourself. Get some boneless chicken breasts, cut them up to nugget size, season however you like, shake them in a bag of breadcrumbs and bake. Make them ahead and either bake then freeze, or freeze before you bake them.

We make our own. Why buy something that can easily be made?

This is America. Land of convenience.

If you bake then freeze, what's the best way to reheat so they don't overcook?

NP- bake the first time until just pale golden, then cool on a rack. Freeze on the rack until hard, then put in freezer containers. Then take out what you need and bake until golden brown.

Good thinking. I agree.

Ugh china sucks. Dictatorial govt with no moral or human rights standards. They could care less about people getting sick from tainted chicken. I'll bake my own nuggets thank you very much!

I do too. Once a month I make a huge batch. Just ate the last one at dinner so Sunday will be frying chicken day.

I'm sure that this is all just Darwin's work...people so stupid that they feed their offspring this frankenfood....the DNA mutations will take care of it all. A little Parkinsons, ALS, and for good measure throw a bunch of cancer in there.

I thought only Hillbillies fed their kids Chicken Nuggets. I guess not.

Skip the nuggets, regardless of whether they are made in China or USA. Unless you are making them at home, they are junk food.
