But, wait, weren't she and Brandon babies when they wed? Babies, I tell ya! <eye roll> Yes, Jen could wise up and start calling it co-parenting. She gives true single mamas a bad name. |

My current Jen issue is that she is a talented writer. Funny, sentimental and able to hit emotions and moments right on the head with humor and insight. And capture the nuance of emotions for moments and life events.
But the dichotomy between what she writes and how she lives is maddening. If you’re so broken up about a kid moving out to college, fair, and her post was on the nose about it. BUT you don’t spend a month away from said kid. Our son just left for college and my husband and I didn’t even have a date night this summer so we wouldn’t miss a thing with him. Now he’s 18 and busy with work and friends so it’s not like we were chained to him but a month away from our kid who is leaving? Are you effing kidding me? And then to wax poetic about it is infuriating. Ditto for her well written posts about all of life stuff. Finances etc. But then she’s making millions so really? Her words don’t match her actions and her words are so well written and relatable it almost is even more infuriating that she knows what to say and how to say it but doesn’t live it. |

Jen is a fraud. We all know it. Too bad the "corn-eaters" don't.
Shilling Wayfair was rediculous! Ben is going to school 20 minutes away. He can come home for dinner. Her level of upset about his "leaving" is not reasonable. My kid went hundreds of miles away. We saw her about once a semester. And, agree, she is not a single parent. Maybe with all the other kids out of the house, she can cope with high-maintenance Remy. |

*ridiculous ... oops
|
| Agree. TX State is literally 15 mins from Buda. My kiddo live 45 mins away and decided to commute. Your take is spot on. She doesn’t live what she writes. That’s for damn sure. |
Agree- brandi is somewhat involved. She’s an idiot if she doesn’t think people see thru her facade. A month away? And then lament about your kid moving less than 20 miles away. They live in the same county for God’s sake. He didn’t move back to Africa. Also, the porch…. In all reality, I’d bet that was a point of contention from her. “Why can’t you finish one project, Brandon?!” I can hear it now. Brandon, in my estimation but off more than he can chew. He’s not a carpenter and was too proud to admit that. So, the porch was never going to be finished and neither were all the other projects that weren’t part of the Chip and JoJo knock off show. |

AND ...
Ben has already come home to do laundry ... on the second day away from home! |
On the 2nd Day!!!! WTF? She isn’t a good enough mother to at least send him away with a clean wardrobe? Come on Jen! You’re better than that! Surely you have some clever little hack (she’s recently found out about the word “hack”) to magically work for all of our kiddo’s college laundry needs. I just know you have a code or something we can use to buy some overpriced organic, free trade, odor and sweat killing laundry soap that’s produced in a 3rd world country somewhere. Whip up some delish organic egg salad or homeade “to die for” pimento cheese and feed that boy… |
And what is Jen going to do? Drown her feelings with a bottle of wine…. Nice. |
This is it. 100% |
| I appreciate the snark here which calls out her hypocrisy and not-so-honest ways. But why don’t others of her followers call her out on these issues? Is someone on her team banning any true and honest open dialog? |
| Most dissenting opinions get deleted. The poster gets booted or blocked. |
💯 true |

Jen, or her team, deletes and blocks any dissenting opinion very aggressively. Even ones that are respectful.
Jen simply can't abide seeing any pushback or opposition. She can only tolerate 100% unanimity. |
