By cutting access, he had to be whisked to the garage, where he famously said he wasn't getting in the car. They tried to flush him out. He refused. |
Still haven't gotten any answers regarding panic buttons that were torn out of Capitol offices prior to 1/6 either. So much points to the 1/6 insurrectionists having inside help. |
I wonder what his specific thought process was that day. How much did he know about what Trump was planning and at what point did Pence realize that no only was he was completely expendable, but also his USSS might be in on it. |
That is a good question for the 1/6 Commission to ask of Pence. |
Do y'all think that the 1/6 Commission will think of all of the good questions that are raised in this forum? |
Pence is a self serving fool. He continues to playdown the 1/6 Insurrection, all while those people tried to get him. Part of me wishes they did get their hands on him. |
Gosh, I wonder why he went to Belarus? (no... I'm not really wondering). |
If that happened, Trump would've declared the Insurrection Act and attempt to vacate the results of the 2020 election. Which, of course, was the ultimate goal of 1/6. |
Yes, MuellerSheWrote is THE authority on anything that happened Jan. 6th. And that anonymous source!! Take it to the bank! |
Okay. Keep doubting. |
NP. Having some insider knowledge of the Senate, I’m not sure who and how they would have cut his access. |
I don’t understand - the VP’s office is a courtesy office. He/she casts a tie breaking vote in the Senate and has. Senate hideaway but the physical space is not Executive Branch offices. The Speaker has the sole authority to dole out office space in Congress, and I presume the Senate Majority Leader has the same power. From each is devolved the power of policing to the Capitol Hill police. I would have thought that someone on Capitol Hill controlled the security of his office. But, the people who wanted him locked out were executive branch? How does the Executive Branch have control of any physical space on the Hill? |
It's chilling that it sounds like some members of the USSS were in on the plot. Also someone high up in the Capitol Police is in charge of programming the office passes. I doubt the former chief was capable but it was one of his subordinates upon his order. It seems that this will be discovered. |
