Could you figure out what high school the OP is in and post it, please? Because that thread is going completely off the rails with op returning and talking about abortion and baby killing and comparing children to dogs. It's a whole new level of low in the "mommy wars" and I feel certain a person who is a parent in this area is not responsible.

My guesses are - high schooler getting kicks getting a moms upset, a snively intern in a republican senators office who believes mothers should stay home, or a mother from a fly over state who never had a chance.

The post is not coming from a high school -- far from it. But, it could be a summer intern.

Also, on further investigation, it doesn't appear that the OP has posted since page 7. Do you seen any indications otherwise?

There are quite toxic posts on page 17 - something about why did you have babies if you we're going to kill them... Later, a poster says weird stuff about post-partum bleeding, then someone says something about dogs being more thought-about than kids for working moms.

Wonder if intern went home?

I have no comment on the thread. But what is wrong with comparing children to dogs? Dogs have the intelligence of a two-year-old. They are sentient. They have a closer relationship with humans than any other species. They work as seeing eye dogs, assistance dogs, and bomb-sniffing dogs. They make wonderful companions. Dog owners tend to live longer. I could go on.

I just do not see the comparison as an insult. Actually, I think you have insulted dogs.
