It’s also a sad picture. A man of fortune and privilege who had so much respect on the world stage is here...running through obstacle courses with a comedian. Also selling out tidbits on his famous family to make money.

Something about this just doesn’t sit right.

Same and same. It was excellent, well-thought-out, perfectly executed PR. Harry was always fun and funny, and it was indeed great to see that again. But the vibe is weird. Of course Harry is going to get homesick in a matter of time, and of course the relationship with his brother -- and perhaps especially Kate -- has been deeply damaged by this Instagram influencer nonsense behavior. And the pretense of their charity work via Santa Barbara mansion - come on. James Corden and Oprah are both manipulators in their own way. I don't know. But ugh.

Especially when wearing a Nazi uniform or dropping his pants or drinking to oblivion - which the family, I might add, did their best to cover up, despite his current clalm of no support.

Why do you think this? My family caused me great stress and I moved far away and I have never been homesick. And I still love and talk to them, but the distance has actually made it possible to not fully walk away.

I feel like a weirdly disproportionate number of Meghan and Harry haters have no idea what it is like to crave freedom from the chains of your childhood. People who had good childhoods have a hard time understanding what it’s like to have not had that. Trust me, I don’t think Harry will ever be homesick. He may miss England on occasion, and he can visit! But he’ll never go back to being a working royal, even if he and MM split up one day. He has been i over this life since his mother died.

You are not watching the same royal family documentaries that I am. Princess Margaret wanted a different life so she married a photographer and hung out with his bohemian friends. Once their marriage was over, she retreated back to her artistocratic circle of friends. I would bet the same will happen to Harry. He also said that he hasn't walked away, but just stepped back. He's leaving the door open to going back.

Margaret did not have any money independent of her sister's the queen. She had no other options, so she went back to being second fiddle to Elizabeth and living off the taxpayers.

Margaret and Elizabeth were also woefully uneducated, which Elizabeth realized once she became queen, so it's not like Margaret had the means to strike out on her own.

To be fair, the word on Harry is that he's not that brilliant.

I think most of them are pretty dim. Charles seems reasonably intelligent. Diana wasn't that smart. William never impresses.

Has he no loyalty to blood and country? I mean who is he really getting back at and at what cost and to what ends?

You mean loyalty to the blood and country that called his 3-day old son a monkey and harassed his wife from the moment it became clear they were dating?

No. His loyalty as he stated is to his wife, his firstborn son, and his child to be. And to the grandma and grandpa that he loves who sent a waffle maker for Christmas.

The country didn't call his son a monkey. It was a single reporter who was immediately fired.

Anyone Harry dated was going to get harassed.

Somehow this family is good enough for Harry to live off.

The second (and third, fourth..)sons or daughters were married off to people in other countries to increase the Crown’s connection to those countries. If they played it right, the BRF could increase their influence and popularity in the US through Prince Harry and Meghan.

Who cares about the BRF in America and vice versa?

Actually, it appears quite a few people do.

I don't know how old any of you are, but I am a middle-aged person. When I was younger, I couldn't wait to get away from my family, my hometown. I went to college in a neighboring state, where I currently live. Now as a middle aged adult, I love being back in my home state. As you get older, you appreciate what is familiar, you gravitate towards what is familiar. I predict he'll go back to what is familiar to him, without or without her, once this period of finding his freedom gets old.

I’m also a middle aged person who couldn’t wait to get out of my home town. It’s actually a big city that brings in many, many tourists and many people want to move there. I love my family dearly but the overall situation was not a good fit for me or the life I wanted to live. I left for college and never really went back. I moved 3000 miles away, got married, grew a career, have a family and a mortgage. I am still very close to my family and love to visit. But I am never happier than when I leave and go back to the home I chose.

Anyway, I have no more idea than any of you how Harry’s life will go, but people can leave a loving family behind and move away for good.

It was just pathetic there are nearly 40 years old people behaving as teenagers. It's also lying.

I'll give you one example of a lie Harry saying he's never been on a double-decker bus but he's actually been on one with Diana
.

Yeah, I do not believe you. If there was a picture you would have posted it. There are pics of Diana on a double decker, but none with her children.

Such a silly statement. Half the people on DCUM talk about moving to Florida or somewhere south away from family, children and grandchildren.

When in doubt go with the 'Prince Harry is dim' lines. I can see why the palace used it. The more we see of Harry, the more we realize what's been hidden away all these years.

Harry is in much, much better shape than William.

Every European expat I speak to talks about going back to live in his/her country of origin at some point. Not silly at all.

What in the world is that with William? Is he seriously wearing a helmet, using support lines, and being spotted by 3 men with their arms up to catch him if he falls? While walking on a beam that's only waist high?

Harry probably doesn’t remember being on a double decker bus since it was way back in 2014.

Harry also rode a legit NYC red double decker tour bus during a PR tour.

Maybe he didn’t remember that trip because he was high? Who knows.

Yeah, I understood him to mean the open top of a double decker when I watched the interview.
