At what age did your son stop growing? What about your daughter?

Thought he was done but 19 yr old son grew a little this last year - though probably an inch or less. Would have thought he was done since he matured rather early. (

I'm still waiting for this, and my sons are 17 and 20.

I stopped growing at about 22.

DD is almost 19, stopped by 16. DS is 17 and is still growing, but much slower now, like a half inch every 6 months for the last two years.

My MIL insists that girls stop growing at menarche. I told her that I put on two inches between 19 and 20 and she gave me that look that says "I think you're lying but I'm going to let it go. "

Wow - I'm female and I've been 5'8" since 7th grade

Girls stop growing about 2 years after their first period. The likelihood of a 20 year old woman still growing is slim.

I got my period at 15 and continued to grow through the first couple of years of college (added about 1.5 inches in those last five years).

That may be the norm but there are certainly outliers. I came home from Freshman year of college and went to my doctor for an annual check up. I had grown an inch Freshman year. The doctor was VERY surprised but said it wasn't unheard of.
