where shall we go for a relaxing few days in FL?

We would like to go to a resort type place with things to do off site and it needs to be on the beach.
We have a toddler.

Suggestions please?

We stayed at Ponte Vedra outside of Jacksonville for a few days and I really liked it because it offered drop-in babysitting. It also functions as a health club for the community so there was a contingent of regulars. We put the kid in babysitting for a couple of hours here and there and it really made the trip nice.

We went to Clearwater Beach this summer and had a wonderful relaxing time. Went to the beach daily. Visited the aquarium where Winter the Dolphin lives. It was a nice vacation.

Another vote for Clearwater Beach! The beach and water are gorgeous and super family friendly. Lots of it is very walkable and if you want you can do day trips to other nearby places like St. Petersburg or Tarpon Springs. We go almost every year.

+1 We love Clearwater Beach. It's an easy flight, too.
