Oi oi oi. A CIA agent or a State Department officer is an "independent" trustworthy witness?

You've reached a dizzying level of sheep.

Says a person who believes HAMAS! I do trust DOS and CIA because I still have a brain. According to you, Hitler was onto something.

October 7 atrocities received a lot of press and they still do. Did you miss all the reporting on it?

Yes, I do not see where news reported that Hamas did not allow people to cross into Israel, even those U.S. citizens stuck in Gaza. I did not see reports that Egypt would not open the border to allow people to escape. I miss all of those. And clearly, a lot of antisemites do not get that news.

I'm 100% sure it was Israel that did not allow people to cross into Israel.

LOL! Were you on the ground there? Sure, I'll take your word instead of those who were there to help U.S. citizens.

Israel was allowing people from Gaza to enter Israel? Where did you hear this from?

From people who were there, helping U.S. citizens stuck in Gaza return to the U.S. Some of us... have jobs!

Did we worry when allies bombed major cities in countries that fought against Nazis as they had German military presence in those cities?
Did we worry when our drones killed innocent bystanders?
Did we worry when some million (estimated only) Vietnamese were killed in Vietnam? Many women and children.
Did we worry when we dropped the nuclear bomb?
Did we worry about those innocents killed in these military operations?

Is this a serious question?

The protest movement for the Vietnam war was ah…a pretty big deal? Maybe you heard about it? College students in the United States were killed?

People burned their draft cards?

People were called “baby killers” when they returned?

So yeah I’m going to go out on a limb and say we cared.

LOL! So, some protested towards the end of the conflict. I am an academic historian, not a shrill who gets news from Hamas Youtube channel.

Literally murdering thousands of kids and still screaming “everyone hates us for no reason!!”

It’s certifiable

It is certifiable that so many people hate Israelis and Jews, no?

Not Jews, the Israeli government.

Did someone post that Hitler was onto something? Or is that just more "I'll tell you what you REALLY think!", and then I'll label you an anti-semite for the words I put into your mouth because I have a special gift where I can tell that someone telling me one thing ACTUALLY means something else?

This thread is horrific, and honestly, haters of Israel sound like Nazis. It is not Israel proving Putin right; it is all haters of Jewish people.
I am embarrassed that it has not been even—80 years since 1945.

It that every Jew is responsible for what Israeli policy is. Must mean every Muslim is pro Hamas / pro terrorist.

They need their friends and social media to explain to them things anyone with a a working moral compass and basic common sense can understand.

No amount of oppression warrants the sheer brutality and bloodlust that these disgusting animals exhibited on October 7th.

They are, for all their religious extremism, godless, evil pigs. It’s one thing to kill, even to attack and instigate a war, but their behavior (and unbelievably , the support that they’ve received from dangerously ignorant and gullible sheep) is depraved .

I would much rather be a casualty of war in the wrong place at the wrong time by a quick gunshot or bomb , than to be humiliated, gang raped, tortured and burned alive, in front of my children and then have the whole shebang videotaped on a phone call to my mother.
And they can thank their dear leaders for turning them into the martyrs that they call themselves.

If you don’t see the depravity in this, all you apologists, and whatabout-ism-ists, then you are ducking morons.

I agree with most you wrote, but please do not insult pigs. Pigs are lovely, smart animals and should not be stained with anti-Semitic Nazi comparisons.

You might as well create a signature block at the end of each of your posts and really dial-up the imagination ... something like:

- Not even a Jew!
- Reformed Baptist Minister, actually
- NASA Astronaut Emeritus
- Academic Historian
- Most interesting Man, Woman, or non-binary person in the World
- Gold Medalist, Summer and Winter Olympic Games
- Honorary Ph.D. in "I'll tell you what you REALLY think" from Trump University

It's not a political contest. I'm for peace, or as close as we can get to it. I just don't think this is peace, nor do I think it's as close as we can get to it. Hamas deserves contempt and should be destroyed. Many Palestinians deserve contempt, too. But guess what? Many in the Israeli government and many Israelis (especially settlers) are contemptible, too. The entire immediate region is just horrendous. It should have been turned into a parking lot long ago. The people living there (Jews, Arabs, whatever) should have been integrated into communities around the world after WWII.

Nothing but disgusting tribal warfare has thrived on that land. If there's such a thing as a cursed land, it surely is one.

yes, because what you are implying, is clear. That is how the English language works, really, how reading works. One can use all sorts of words to convey a point, and the point still comes across.

If you really cared about not being called anti Semitic, you would be saddened at accusations of being called anti Semitic--I would be, and would apologize profusely for any misuderstanding.

No they wouldn't because your accusation is clear to all bad faith.

It is ok to say and think that it is not necessary or a requirement or a moral imperative that the people who for some reasons call themselves "Palestinians" have a nation of their own. When you think about it, why is that something that they are allowed to force us to make an important issue? I'd love for my extended familiy to have its own country, doesn't mean others needs to care about this goal. Yes, they will talk about history, selfish Jewish people, oppression, dehumanization, but really, none of this matters--they just have a desire and a want, that we do not have to satisfy. Their whole movement is actually pretty selfish. They don't want to do the hard work it requires to form a society and a community, so they terrorize to try to force others to give them what they want. "We can't help but become terrorist" they say.

To your perspective it is bad faith because anti Semitism as a concept doesn't exist to you. It is an impossibility.
