s/o: What other kids shows do you over-analyze ?

It appears that Sid the Science Kid goes to a school with only four students.

I love watching tv with my kid, and do this the whole time. I also get angry when a song on one of her cd's says "if I was a cheetah, I'd run and run all day." Every time I hear it, I have to use all my restraint to avoid shouting, "Cheetah's run very fast for a very short period of time, you idiot! They can't run all day. They're sprinters!"

The exhortations to "help her" by pantomiming or shouting something just don't make sense. The puzzles she has to solve in order to progress to the next thing also: MAKES NO SENSE!!!

Why do characters wear the same clothes all the time? Don't they have other outfits? But I guess we don't see them doing laundry either.

Should be "were." That's what would bug me about that song. I wouldn't want my child listening to improper grammar on a regular basis. They pick it up too easily.

One Dora episode made me snort out coffee. After talking to a car, trash truck and various inanimate things, when confronted with a speaking trashcan (Swiper) she admonishes Boots and viewers by saying, "Do you trash cans talk??". Um no, but cars and maps do???
