This looks like what I wore to play Jack's Mother in my 7th Grade drama club's production of Into the Woods. Except it was white and burgundy. |
The dress is cute with the belt and boots. Usha made it dowdy. |
I like the dress too, but don’t think it suits her shape or coloring. |
But where were her fashion icon friends who "advise" her on her wardrobe???? |
She should've done something closer to this:
or even this: [img]https://images.bloomingdalesassets.com/is/image/BLM/products/8/optimized/13890808_fpx.tif?qlt=85,0&resMode=sharp2&op_usm=1.75,0.3,2,0&wid=1200&fmt=webp[url] Neither is perfect but at least they would look less slovenly than what she chose. Of course with her refusal to tailor her clothes, I guess even the most beautiful dress would look sloppy. |
You're supposed to wear black on Good Friday - at least that's what I was always taught. I could be wrong. |
It's an ugly two piece on someone with an ugly soul, but appropriate for surfing. ![]() |
I was taught any dark color you would wear to a funeral is fine. His outfit is far more appropriate than hers. |
This is the problem with so many of her clothes. She needs a good tailor. |
It's the combination of high waisted and full coverage bottom. I expect something high waisted to have a little less coverage - this bottom is MORE than full coverage. It's like board short-level coverage. Which, again, she's surfing and is appropriate, but it looks odd. |
it's very 1980s. I hate it. |
Why are her arrival and sightseeing outfits all-white? We know Lady MacVance is bizarrely entitled, do we think the all-white everywhere around Rome is a power trip?

That’s just because he is a man wearing a suit. It would be very hard for him to go wrong. |
It's very hard for a thin, wealthy woman with access to resources/help to go wrong and yet...Usha always finds a way! |
I’m not going to say Usha gets it right but to compare her to a man wearing a suit to church is lame. |
