| I am early pregnant, barfing, and irritated. Matzo ball soup is one of the only foods that appeals to me. Where is the best place to find this soup? I live in Arlington, but i am totally willing to have my husband travel for the right soup. Please help! |

Parkway deli has amazing matzoh ball soup. I'm oregnant and ate it for 2 weeks straight lol.
It's in Silver spring MD though. |

| Pp here meant to say pregnant and oregnant, lol! |
| I make it from the mix available year round in the grocery store. It is not hard to make. |
| Alas the place with the best matzo ball soup closed (BJ Pumpernickels in Olney) but Parkway Deli is pretty good. No idea of any place in.NoVa. |
| Chutzpah is Fairfax is okay but nothing beats homemade. |
| Metro 29 on Lee Highway. Hang in there. I subsisted on pickles and lemonade many a day during my pregnancy. |
| Is Loebs downtown still around? Theirs is pretty good. Also second Parkway. |
| Thanks for all the suggestions! |
| Brooklyn deli in Potomac md probably a 30 minute drive |
| Parkway is very good, but I make it from the grocery mix all time and it's easy and tasty. The trick I learned from my MIL is to make the matzo balls with sparkling water instead of flat. Makes them nice and fluffy. |
| A tip - don't eat too much of a fave food when you are nauseous - even if it helps you at that moment, it could turn you off to the food long term bc you associate it eith the nauseous feeling. I speak from experience! |
Not worth the drive. Attmans from Baltimore is coming (or just came) to Cabin John Mall in Potomac. I just left the area so don't know the move in date. |
+1 the place and the food are disgusting. Can't wait for Attman's. |
