Based on what critieria? |
It’s awful. It turned so quickly too. |
They would never move it up, they would move it to later in the evening. Many times games start at 730- I have seen some this year start at 815 (Madison last night) Any storm will be long gone and may just be some rain at that point and they play in rain. |
Let me guess it was so much better when you played 10+ years ago. The teams are solid and the good programs should make watching the end of districts and states fun to watch. |
Just say that you love your older son more |
| Anyone know if Langley and Yorktown are still playing tonight? Game was originally at 5:15pm, likely impacted by weather (?) and no longer appears on NFHS. |
I’d assume it just started late. |
Yes, it started late. Yorktown is up 11 to 7 at halftime. |
| 18-11 Yorktown |
| Region D Semifinals will be Yorktown vs Oakton and Madison vs Langley |
Correct. |

Played about 25 years ago and I’m not sure how teams from then would stack up against the teams today. I would agree with pp though lacrosse peaked as a whole in NOVA about 10ish years ago. Easiest metric is probably the amount of D1 commits there were and the level of programs they were going to. Still a few teams that have a guy or two that are legit. Not much depth though and a lot of very bad teams.
Still a lot of fun competitive games and the effort is still as good as ever. Still really enjoy watching every spring. Thankful for all the refs and coaches keeping it going. |

Justice 0 Game was 11-0 at half… multiple delays due to lightning. Justice decided to forfeit and end game at half 11-0 |
| Langley was game in the first half, but no answer for #3 by the 4th quarter - must have been involved in half the goals. |
