To use the judicial system to embarrass Diddy and make the jury dislike him.

From what I understand, the prosecution wants the jury to convict Diddy for things like “distribution” because he bought the drugs for the parties and everyone used them. If that’s the standard, a lot of people would be in jail. Even the ST is incredibly gray because the women were ordering the workers etc in many cases.

Diddy is not a sympathetic defendant, so I don’t know how this will shake out. The jury may just want to convict b/c he’s a bad guy who hits women. But that’s not the charge and this seems to border on malicious prosecution.

I wrote this a couple of days ago. It aged well. I think this was a malicious prosecution and the state didn’t meet their burden. The jury convicted on the lowest charge most likely b/c they see diddy as a bad guy and wanted to convict him of something.

There was no prostitution. Hell, the escort service he used is still in existence.
Majority of this case was based on text messages, voice mails, and video tapes.
There were literally times when Diddy canceled freak off sessions and his alleged victims were mad- trying to talk Diddy into changing his mind. There are literally text messages from alleged victims complimenting Diddy sexµally telling them what they wanted him to do and then them visually enjoying themselves on the tapes in chronological order. There were times the Jury was literally laughing during reviewing the freak off videos. This case was so unserious and ridiculous.
Allege victims currently living in $10,000 a month apartments Diddy is still paying for.
Prosecution didn't even charge Diddy for the guns found at his homes but made a big deal out of baby oil. He wanted them “shiny on tape”. I think the real fed heist was to get rid of all the tapes he has of celebrities and A list people just like another poster speculated.

So, the two charges he is guilty of are nothing charges. You get 0-10 years for this charge, and he'll probably get time served and then be on probation. And I'm sure his defense team will appeal these two charges.

This is a huge disappointment for those of us who thought he was guilty.

I'm the person you quoted. I didn't jump to conclusions. I went into this having no opinion, except I knew, based on the cassie video, that he was abusive. However, I knew that wasn't part of his charges. I was tuned in every single day of this trial, and I read each person's testimony as it was being live-tweeted by a reputable media outlet. I follow a paralegal who went over each tweet as it came out, explained the law, and went over the logistics of how the courtroom works and answered questions as they came up. My opinion was not based on TMZ or internet gossip sites. I listened, watched, and through the process learned a lot bout the law.

Respectfully, a pencil is smarter than Cassie. Diddy’s female defense attorney called Cassie beautiful and charming before the cross examination to let her guard down and Cassie them told the truth that she did all of this for love and because she loved Diddy, sex. and getting high in that order. I think her husband is the brains behind suing Diddy and the hotel. She’s very dim and the prosecutors visibly gasped when she explained she received an additional 10 million from the hotel, a detail the prosecutors obviously didn’t know about.

Thanks. I respect the process. This is the same process I had hoped would come back guilty, and while I disagree with them on this, I do believe in it. It couldn’t have been easy being a juror on a case like this.

Thanks. I respect the process. This is the same process I had hoped would come back guilty, and while I disagree with them on this, I do believe in it. It couldn’t have been easy being a juror on a case like this.

They were over before the arrest but it’s telling J Lo hasn’t really come out to tell her story probably because she doesn’t have a story. She was a multi millionaire actress and pop star possibly making more money than Diddy so I doubt he could make her degrade herself the way he made these women. J Lo also famously doesn’t drink much alcohol or drugs. I think Diddy was clearly selective on which women he actually respected and liked and wanted a family with and which ones he did not take seriously or just wanted for fetish purposes (Cassie, “Jane Doe”, ). He needs serious help and a hobby because before this case, I never knew that sex parties and cuckold parties were a thing. According to one of the male escorts, Diddy is not the only celebrity he was hired to “perform” for so Diddy is not an anomaly here

C’mon. He’s scum. Judge delivers sentencing. And I do think he expected a harsher verdict, therefore, think he’ll deliver a harsher sentence.

Cassie uses methadone for her drug addiction. If you saw how these women in Hollywood operate and the drugs they use, you would not feel much sympathy for them. Disagree. Cassie is a victim and you cannot change this. She clearly has problems but the whole hollywood industry preys on insecurity and so many young people get sucked in. I am sure it was hard for her to testify. The problem is this case was not a case that addressed what happened to her.

What happened to her was DV which was not addressed in any of these charges. Not even one count of assault was placed despite the hotel tape. Coercion was placed instead based on Cassie’s lie that she was forced to do the freakoffs. Before this criminal case, she came out with a lengthy statement to the public where she says she was abused and coerced into prostitution yet maybe she didn’t understand the meaning of prostitution because Diddy was never paid for any of this. This was not a money making enterprise for him. He was spending money.

Racketeering would require some element of profiteering here. The only profiteer it turns out was Cassie. She received money and gifts and retired her parents thanks to her relationship with Diddy. The most damning message is the one where Diddy asks (multiple times at different occasions) if she wants to stop the freakoffs and she says no, never.

Cassie is the link that ruined this case

Plus the messages of Cassie threatening people.

Not just Cassie but Jane Doe also would make complaints about the escorts and kinda put in their own reviews to Diddy so he’d know to hire “their preferred” male escorts next time. The women had some autonomy in this which challenged the notion of coercion. They chose the partners they wanted

His daughters went to Sierra Canyon Hs in Los Angeles which is where Ben Afflecks daughter graduated from last year so what’s funny is J Lo’s kids and Diddy’s kids probably know each other
