Worst hollywood casting decision ever?

Daniel Radcliffe as Harry. He wasn't horrible in the first 4, but I couldn't stand him as older Harry.

Nina Dobrev as Elena in Vampire Diaries. Part of it is that I found her character annoying, but I didn't think she was right for the role.

Yes. There are 56,000 British actors who could have done a better job than Andi. You know all the Brits made fun of her throughout the filming.

Isn't the whole point of the character that she's American?

I don’t think being American was necessary to the plot, but in any case, there are 56,000 British actors who can play a better American than she did.

This is one that seemed ok at the time but aged terribly.

It did not seem OK to me at the time.

Because she isn't Patti Lupone or why? I thought Madonna was good in that role.

Agree with most of the comments above except I mostly like Nicole Kidman and Emily Blunt. Val Kilmer as Doc was brilliant.

He's a perfect Paul Atreides. Paul is 15 in the book. I realize Chalamet is much older than that but he still looks 15. He looks aristocratic, intelligent, and he's a great actor.

Deciding to switch casting on iconic characters rather than just cancel the show or write them out when the original character decides to leave. The show almost always dies a slow death.

One of the weirdest was on "Dallas" when Barbara Bel Geddes was sick, and they recast Donna Reed as Miss Ellie for a season, and then Bel Geddes returned the following year. They looked and acted very differently.

Jack Black with any attractive love interest.

Agree! For one thing she’s not attractive enough to be the daughter of two super models. And boring.

Idris Alba in the Dark Tower. It’s based on the English nights of the round table.

That guy in Bosch. He sticks his chin out in every scene.

+10000 back when I cared about books made into movies.

DCUM post of the year. Not joking at all.

I’m an idiot. Who is it? Explain. Please.

I get that people have strong feelings about her, but she was adorable in the Princess Diaries movies

And I liked her in Devil Wears Prada

I thought she was fabulous in Les Miz and Interstellar.
