How is there not a thread about that lunatic dad who screamed at the Loudon school board?

His entire point was lost by his display of crazy. He reflects poorly on himself and his poor family. And I pity the teacher that is forced to endure him during the school year.

Those forcing this viral and admiring his "passion" are the same ones who were impressed by Trump's incoherent displays of rage, labeling him a "strong man" and someone who "says what he thinks." LOL

I feel deep cringing embarrassment for all the people saying he’s their “hero!” and “awesome!” Hes a jerk. We all want our kids in school. I am ready to go back in too. But this dude is NOT admirable or eloquent. Just yelling.

And I cringe for people who can’t appreciate someone being passionate about something and trying to get his point across. If he was violent, that would be a different story.

Not everyone acts with decorum and orderliness 100% of the time, especially when emotions are heated.

I applaud him, and would do the same, and wouldn’t care (and I’m sure he doesn’t either) how much it makes you or anyone else cringe.

You applaud someone Screaming FIGURE IT OUT and call that “a point” he was making? Seems to me the board did figure out what they’re doing thus far — DL — but it’s not the answer he likes. He literally had no point, he just wanted to scream. The only point he communicated to me is that he’s an entitled jerk who doesn’t like the answer he’s been given. He screams because for once he’s not getting his way and he doesn’t really have words to describe it bc it’s hard to articulate powerlessness and the rage one feels upon arriving there when you’ve lived your whole life with privilege. That’s all I could hear anyway.

DL is not the answer. If it was, then districts wouldn't be working out how to get back into the classroom. DL was a wholly inadequate way to kick the can down the road. But it's caused so much harm, it's almost out of road.

None of that justifies his ridiculous display. And, I'll add, plenty of kids are handling DL just fine. It's not quite the all or nothing you're making it out to be.

Not sure how anyone could argue with him, but of course, the loons will.

Yep

"FIGURE IT OUT." That's some argument.

Passion! Hero! Amazing!!

He’s the same guy who screams at the 17 year old girl who messes up his order at Chick-fil-A

And those kids have their answer. They can continue to DL. What about everybody else?

Yes, figure it out. It’s pretty simple, DL only when an individual tests positive. The entire school shouldn’t shut down for one positive covid case.

The man is great! Good for him! The school board must be hating this right now. Someone had the guts to tell them how useless they are.

Uh I doubt the school board is hating this. I’m no fan and yet he managed to look worse. Their silence makes them look much more mature and rational.

No one should be proud of a raging DB.

He is rallying and fighting on BEHALF of his children. Seeing your kids suffer at the hands of others will bring out the claws in any decent parent. If you don’t see this you are being willfully ignorant.
I will reiterate what someone posted here earlier: if he acts like that in public how does he act at home? I bet his kids really are the ones desperate for school to open.

No he’s not. He’s a small angry man. This is about him and how put upon he feels, not his kids

Tell yourself that. Tell us that. But you're wrong.

No she/he isn't. His display makes other selfish people feel good because there are other crazy people out there and it validates their selfishness.

We are paying taxes to educate our children. My children are not receiving stellar educations right now, as opposed to all those children who are supposedly thriving while learning at home. It doesn’t make me selfish to expect a decent and adequate education for my kids. It is selfish, however, to assume just because your kids are succeeding with DL, all kids must be able to.

Yeah, I would like not to have people like that making decisions for my kid.

Disagree. They looked awful. He did not look bad at all. He schooled them.

No, their silence makes them appear complacent and lazy. Tho, we can agree to disagree.

He was interviewed on Fox news and now DailyMail has an article.

Is this how you and and him prefer your kids to be "schooled" too?

You don't need an educational system to do it. Just teacher kids to yell on top of their lungs to bring their point across.

Of course he was interviewed by Fox News. It’s a yelling network of bully yellers. He’s their exact demographic.
