He literally had no point, he just wanted to scream. The only point he communicated to me is that he’s an entitled jerk who doesn’t like the answer he’s been given. He screams because for once he’s not getting his way and he doesn’t really have words to describe it bc it’s hard to articulate powerlessness and the rage one feels upon arriving there when you’ve lived your whole life with privilege. DL is not the answer. If it was, then districts wouldn't be working out how to get back into the classroom. DL was a wholly inadequate way to kick the can down the road. But it's caused so much harm, it's almost out of road.
