She wears LOTS of pantsuits, but manages not to attract any comments on them the way HRC did.

I think that's because her suits are more modern (fitted clean lines, one button jacket) and she wears real heels, not kitten heels or loafers. In contrast, Hillary's suits always seemed a bit boxy & old ladyish. FWIW I had no issue with the way Hillary dressed (and unfair we talk about women like this and not men) but that's just my take on the difference between the two.

Those suits are horrible on her. Skirt might have been better with the large hips.

Hillary developed heavy legs and cankles as she aged, which is why she probably stuck to pantsuits.

She looks like a teletubby. She can do better.

Her hair is feminine but not distracting, she never wears busy prints, the colors are serious, and her jewelry is elegant and quality. Her clothes fit! It's basically the antithesis of the Trump women discussion.

I love this look. She looks ready to go to work, instead of the trump women who look like they're going to a fashion show.

She has incredible style. She definitely looks like she is taking care of business in that suit while not losing her femininity. Love it.

She is good at finding her light when she poses for pictures. She’s really so pretty.

Was this the cover that was intended to be used?

That’s my understanding, but it’s all quite confusing.

Yes, Yashar reports, the agreed cover she was wearing a powder blue suit.

Has anyone seen a great pic of her walking up big city steps? I don’t know if it’s old or new or press pool or photo shoot but it was perfect.

Vogue made a mistake. Big mistake. Huge.

In the agreed cover, she was wearing the powder blue suit. Anna Wintour’s got some explaining to do. Again.

Jasmine Wright reports that the black suit w/ pink/green background pic wasn’t even an option offered by Harris’ team - even to go on the inside pages.

So, Vogue went to the discard pile for the VP cover.

I want to know where she got that necklace.

I think the weirdest part of the vogue cover is that the backdrop is all wrong for what she's wearing. ANYONE can see that.

That outfit with Kamala in the middle of the street or in front of a wall of glass windows or something a little more edgy would have been better. But in front of that weird pink flowing silk? WTF?? It looks like a test photo -- "Hey Kamala, can you just stand here for a sec, so we can see if this is the right height for when we start the shoot?"

I totally understand why she's wearing what she's wearing - she's the VP-elect, she doesn't need to be in a ballgown, but get it right, Vogue. The powder blue suit photo is great and totally appropriate, this one is just wrong.

What a mess! The cover photo is awful. Why would they do that? It isn’t even good art. Dated and strange backdrop, weird jacket choice, and Kamala (who normally looks amazing) looks like she was caught mid pose. Terrible.

Agree with the PP that she should have been outside or with a more powerful backdrop (city, monument etc) vs a flowery prom backdrop.

This is way better than the cover with a baby blue frumpy suit and 10th grade geology teacher necklace. That is just....blech.

The stairs photo, however - shorter jacket (always flattering), feminine and shapely tailored shirt suit, and just-slightly-too-sexy-for-court heels. That is a fashion forward exec. Not that she knows how to run a business....

Apparently the nice blue suit cover is the cover for the digital version. The one with the chucks is the one they chose for the print version. I also don’t like it. And with the way you see the pink backdrop, it looks terrible, like they couldn’t even set it up properly. I get wanting her to seem down to earth or whatever, but the blue one is just so much better
