There is no liberal media. There's conservative media in various flavors of crazy. There's corporate media - what you would consider the "liberal media." And there's much more independent media.

But the only "agenda" of the owners of corporate media? Clicks and money. Reporters probably want to report (so long as they aren’t among the 200 reporters reportedly working for Russia) but their owners? Money money money money.

I guess I just was daydreaming during the eight years of Obama on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, the Washington Post, the LA Times, and the New York Times worshipped his every step, the same media outlets than attack our president day in and day out.

When reporting what the president says and does is “attacking” perhaps you should question your president.

The issue is that he did not want to support immigration supports for people from the countries that he described as undesirable. If anything, we should support people who want to come to America for opportunities. That's the racist part (duh) - he is saying don't let people from these countries in because the countries are bad. They may or may not be -- but he thinks they are and lumps the people in the same category of undesirable. He wants immigration from Norway. Right... lots and lots of demand for that.

These countries are all first world paradises with jobs for everyone, peaceful safe socieites, having good environmental laws, worker protections, with relatively low corruption and high social trust?

No, not by any means.

You can argue that this is the result of colonialism or whatever, but the fact remains that these are not societies that many from the first world would willingly immigrate too. In fact, these very conditions are the impetus for many to leave those countries!

lol the first thing I thought was, do lot of Norwegians really want to come here?? I had some friends (a married couple) who were here from Sweden for a few years- one was attending graduate school while her husband worked. Once she finished they went back to Sweden- partly because they wanted to start a family and the benefits are so much better there.
