Madeline mccan was most likely murdered by a violent German child molester. In this case I think the parents are guilty solely of irresponsibility and carelessness by leaving her alone.

Sadly it is not much of a mystery what happened with Robert Wone.

The scary thing that the missing girls in Ohio, Jaycee Dugard and Elizabeth Smart taught us is that some of these missing persons are possibly still alive. Not sure which is worse being killed or captive.

Sadly, I think Kyron Horman just wandered off. The security and communication at the school was so lax/confused that day. He had a history of wandering off, and there were several hours where no one was aware of where he was. Plus, he had a history of wandering off. I know the stepmom theory is popular, but I just don't think she did it. The media coverage was very slanted that way because there wasn't much else to go on. I used to live not far from there, on the other side of Forest Park. His school is the most remote in the district, and the surrounding forest land is very dense and hilly. There are lots of overhangs/dropoffs and creeks that run through there, and it's easy to get lost. People have lived undetected for years in Forest Park, and an injured person could easily not be found.

OMG, what a horrible way for that poor woman to die! She was dying when people were looking for her?

What frustrates me about the Chandra Levy case is, this happened in Washington DC, an area with tons on manpower. The most logical place to search was rock creek park. If I were here then, I would have volunteered to search for her in rock creek park. I think she could have been found alive. It's such a sad case.

They did search in Rock Creek park with a cast of hundreds, they just didn’t find her. The police were incompetent in their search. A bunch of cadets were instructed to search 10 feet off the road instead of much further out.

The police search was incompetent. A bunch of cadets were instructed to search 10 feet in either direction from the road, but it was supposed to be much further out. It was a communications snafu that nobody ever took responsibility for.

NP. What's sad and sickening is that Robert Wone's alleged killers are walking around free as far as I know. DC police pretty certainly know what happened but couldn't pin it on the suspected killers, who stuck to their mutual story. They still get to live their lives and just...carry on.
