Christ8nr took care of the home front so the others could work. It is one of the reasons all of Janelle’s kids are close to her.

Right. She never earned a income. Meri only had 1 kid - by the time Christine came along she didn’t need childcare anyway.

I do remember that from earlier episodes when they moved to Las Vegas, and makes sense when kids were going back and forth. (and I have an only so I get it). This house the other night just struck me as huge compared to the others now. I would be lost in that house alone...

That's not true. Kody married all three of the original wives before the first kid arrived. Christine raised all of the kids from the first 3 marriages.
