Yes, they should take a look at the Gosselins now and learn from how well that worked out for them. Danielle, while not at the same level as Kate, is pretty controlling. I can see a future situation where it's just Hazel and Adam living on their own like Hannah lives with just Jon now.

Has anyone noticed that on A&Ds IG pages they are usually just pics of Hazel being posted now? It’s like the others don’t exist anymore. The Busby Zombies have spoken and they want Hazel BAZEL . Screw the other 4 ( Blayke is second in pics posted). They do what they have to do for the $$$$$$ that the love so much now. And not only them, Uncle Dale pimps her out big time too for likes and attention. No uncle by marriage cares that much about a kid that’s not his. He acts like he doesn’t have any kids of his own and she is his “ precious”. It’s really creepy in my opinion and if she was my child I would be on alert ( although I’m 99% sure it’s just for the attention she gets him on IG and you tube. They used to take turns posting pics of the girls but I guess they’re seeing it’s much more profitable to post more of carrot top.

Adam is Gay. Or at least he hangs out in gay bars. Last year my gay cousin saw him in a Dallas bar wearing a mustache and when his friend called out Adam, he looked at him and turned his head and was immediately walking away as quickly as possible. Not 100% sure it was him, but he did respond to his name and looked very nervous and hi tailed it away from my cousin.

Ugh... could they BE more blatant with their favoritism for Hazel-Basel??

I understand that she needed extra love & attention due to her eye complications & surgery (I underwent all of the exact same surgeries as a child as Hazel, so I definitely sympathize with her) plus, they're provably trying to build up her self esteem being that she looks so different from all of her sisters & will probably be compared to them for the rest of her life (and it's not just the glasses that makes her look different from them - it's everything).

That being said, they still don't have to be so darn blatant about it.

Danielle is the absolute worst offender of it (although, that uncle/Hazel's godfather comes in a very close second, as he outright calls her his favorite and he'll hardly pay attention to his other nieces).

As the girls get older, I imagine this type of behavior will end up hurting Hazel's relationship with her sisters, as they'll always remember & resent the favoritism she received throughout childhood.

Additionaly, as if the potential resentment won't be bad enough, can you imagine how MUCH more alienated Hazel will feel having identical twins Ava & Olivia as sisters?

Not only do they look exactly alike, but they're almost attached at the hip too & while Riley & Parker arent identical, they absolutely look identical. as they look appear exactlythe same& those two are also attached to each other.

And then there's Hazel-Basel.

She looks nothing like her sisters - there's barely a resemblance, and she plays more by herself than any one of her sisters (when the adults aren't fawning all over her, of course).

I have a love-hate relationship with the show. I like watching because the kids are cute, but I really hate Danielle‘s mother, who was a drama queen and acts like a child. I also think Adam is kind of lame, and definitely get some type of bisexual vibe from him, but that may be because he’s so emotional and kind of effeminate, and because Danielle is definitely in the traditional male role in their family. I do envy them having such a close knit family with their siblings, spouses, and kids and getting so much help, and living so close together. That’s kind of rare, and definitely something that’s a huge benefit for all of them.

Totally agree with you guys about the extra attention and preference for Hazel. It will definitely be hard for her going up in the family because everyone else has a twin, she looks nothing like them, and is definitely the oddball and ugly duckling of the group. She will probably grow up to be the CEO of a company or do something great, but she certainly not going to have the easiest childhood.

Rule #1 of homosexuality: never speak of seeing a 'straight' person you know/know of at a gay bar or other gay function. Their life is not your business, especially not to broadcast.

You can think, 'Ha! I always knew he was gay!' to yourself all you want, but you don't speak of it.

FWIW, I am a lesbian and know of more than one M/F couple who are each gay and married. It was a conscious choice they made together years ago before the prospect of gay marriage being legal had even a glimmer of hope. Some did it for insurance purposes, some did it to get conservative family member's off their cases, some did it because they wanted kids, and some had their own reasons. They love each other, they love the family they've created together, and they even sleep together but do not have sex with each other. They see other people outside of the marriage to fulfill those needs.

I was just watching Season 3 Episode 7 when they are in Nashville and Riley just slapped Uncle dale in the face! And she thinks its funny. Dale should have just let her go right then. My sister did that exact same thing to my dad and he let go of her and she didnt care for the unexpected 3 feet drop to the hardwood floor. That got her attention and it never happened again.

I dont think that this family has 5 girls. They have 4 girls and a Hazel. That poor kid has been beat to death with the Ugly Stick. Then they give her a 19th Century name in the 21st century. You have Ava Olivia Riley and Parker and then they give the runt of the litter a name like Hazel?!?!
They need to get her eyes fixed ASAP. My neighbors middle school aged daughter has the same condition the Hazel does and she is know in school and the neighborhood as Crazy Eyes. She is bullied and made fun of and her name is Helen which doesnt help. I think that in a few years Hazel needs to meet Jazz from the I am Jazz show on TLC as well.
Jazz was born a boy but never felt like a boy and always identified as a girl. I think Hazel is the exact opposite. I would be willing to bet a $1000 cash that Hazel will be having the surgery that Jazz had in New York City.
Hazel looks like a mini Male Truck Driver. She has 4 cute sisters and Hazel has her Crazy Eyes and flat face and those Horrible white glasses. They make her look even worse. When they are in the restaurant in Galveston and Mimi say that the male waiter looks just like Hazel and Danielle has the surgeon over their house and she says to the surgeon, and that's Hazel, the one that we thought was a boy. Why would she say that. They were too small to look like anything when they were born. Unless they were referring to Hazels private parts which may resemble male genetalia. I knew a woman who had a very large clitoris which could be mistaken for a penis from a distance. I know that Hazel is going to grow up wearing all of those dresses and girly clothes feeling totally out of place until she gets her sex change operation in 14 to 15 years from now. Call me crazy but now is the time in 2019 with LGBTQIA Plus and 32 recognized genders. not just the boring 2 genders we were brought up with.

They really need to buckle dow with these kids. They are not doing them any favors, and for Gods sake why do they all have to dress thesame. dress the twins the same but leave the other 3 alone. What happened to the individuality they love to talk about?
