You hate living far out and yet you're doing everything you can to make it as hard as possible on yourself. GROW UP.

You get up 3.5 hours before you start work? Dumb.

Work is not the only thing worth waking up for.

I wake up at 5:30, have a 10-minute commute, and don't need to be at work until sometime between 9-11. I enjoy having my coffee, reading my websites, cuddling with the cats, working out, eating a nice breakfast, etc., etc., etc. Not dumb at all.

LOL

Hahahhahahahahahaha wtf

Seriously? You don't understand why someone might want some early-morning cat cuddles? WTF to you?

I just snickered at my desk again. Its just funny that its an integral part of their daily morning routine. Mine involves: teeth brushing, showering, coffee, pooping, getting dressed. Not all of us have the luxury of such a leisurely morning.

^if you woke up a few hours early you would. That's the point!

I've always been up earlier than necessary. I like time to myself before I have to deal with anyone else. Sleeping in would ruin my day!

I was incredibly lucky when my kids were little. They would both sleep until around 7 AM. I could get up most days in time to have a coffee before they woke up.

I know a few who get out of bed and have to hit the floor running. I would be a mess all day if I did that.

^ ^ When I worked, I got up in time to have myself ready before ds was awake. It's the only way I function.

You are showing your youth. We don't use our phones as alarm clocks - all that blue light is disruptive to sleep.

WHAT.BLUE.LIGHT.

You dont sleep with the phone on your forehead all lit up... You turn the alarm on, lock the scree, and set it on your nightstand...

There is no blue light glaring.

You are showing your old age.

Literally just burst out laughing! Love it.

Maybe next I will try to cook chicken wings in a toaster oven like the poor husband of the OP who makes him eat meat in the cat basement.

can someone direct me to this gem?

Alas, it was deleted.

She hates the smell of meat and wants a house with two kitchens... That one?

Or no! He wanted to move into two condos!??

Yes, her DH wants to sell their home and purchase two condos in the same development so he can have his own place to cook meat in. OP is on board with the idea.

Wait, this is the same OP? So cooking meat makes her gag but frying spicy tuna in coconut oil at 8 am is okay?? That is hysterical.

Seriously, especially if you have a cat that refuses to cuddle.
